Would this be a sign of over-watering with these here 2 odd week old ‘seedlings’ - Leaves are buckled at the ends , I’ve been watering near everyday although with a 20ml syringe just lightly around it...

another thing is what is the whitish stain on one of the leaves ? Something to do with my tap water or ?
Ruled heat stress out since it’s 25c in there we are in autumn now , light is 50cm high dimmed to 240w (out of 300w)

would appreciate some insight on this , anything to worry about , water issues etc cheers

The buckle effect at the ends of the leaves happening to all 3 , there’ve all had about the same amount of water

It is getting that time yes your right, cheers for the heads , so that’s why the leaves buckle at the ends ?

also any idea what the white streak is in the first pic on one of the leaves?

Not so sure it would cause the leaves to curl like that , anyone else

Your plants cannot properly uptake nutrients in those soil conditions. Thats the problem.

Nutrients are a taken up via water and with dry pots like that they are not.

Also roots will not grow into dry soil.

Plants transpire by taking water up from the roots and expelling from the leaves keeping the nutrients. If they are in dry soil this does not happen and the plants close stomata in an effort to prevent water loss. Leaving the plant hungry and thirsty, moving mobile nutrients where it can and showing deficiencies in lower leave from mobile nutrients and upper leave from immobile nutrients.

TLDR: WATER THE PLANTS AS @Beachwalker described

Yeah I had done that since like when he first mentioned ! and was watering the plant around it prior to this around it like I had also said , I’d read not to water the entire pot to begin with that’s why...I am perfectly aware water is needed for the uptake and so on , please don’t misunderstand

I was playing it a little too safe shall we say

I’d might as well use this old thread for the same plant some weeks later , I feel there’s a nuts issue , I have been riding carefully with the biz grow , despite the fact there’s a lil burn to the tips , very sensitive it seems (purple lemonade 2fast) maybe a little too carefully and now it would appear to be eating itself , judging by these lower leaves , although one has brown spot so I’m not sure if it’s asking for N or not considering it’s in I’d say first real week of flower...

Could it be Cal/mag ? I don’t wana go use something that it may not need , it may even be its normal process , but there’s still a month to go and I feel all the leaves will end up like it , but for all I know it could just be where it ain’t got enough light that side not sure

hope one can diagnose ,

And on the Purple punch , bottom leaf turning , again could be coz it ain’t received enough light and again I am not sure about that either

I think you may be looking at a P and K deficiency. I would add a little more bloom boost if you have something there. I had a similar problem I didnt catch quite quick enough. Took about 7 days to recover

Thanks for the fast response , so for the next water which is tomorrow, il increase the ratio of the bloom nutes , have to admit I’ve been ultra carful with the dosage , and so as I say - maybe a little too carful , I mean I’ve been using it by the ‘.’ so far

Has gotten worse unfortunately , same deficiency then or

Could be just the lag in time so to speak , in probs best giving it another few days to really see if the new P-K dosage will improve it , has had its next water and feed today since I last posted few days ago

The other plants are showing signs of this now , I’ve been using top max 0.5ml and Bloom 2ml in 5l fabric pots over the last 2 feeds now , but as I say the others are doing it , could it be that I gave too much

I’m now stuck whether to give just plain water on the next few feeds or flush them fully and then provide a weaker ratio

Should add that I also worked a way up to the 2ml dose , there’s also 0.2ml grow , assuming pot size effects how much the ratio of nutes should be also right ?

the plants in question , far left it’s the purple lemonade fastbuds , top middle barneys purple punch , and obviously the blackberry from fastbuds ,

anyone grown ? are these strains sensitive to nutes , either that I’m an idiot , probably both

I don’t like the idea of flushing yet , maybe water a larger percentage for some run off over the next week instead but then maybe there isn’t time for that due to a current lock out of what it needs , so regardless of my dosage it’s not going to be able to use it , and salts will just keep on building up

Looks like a beginning to a potassium deficiency to me. When you water/feed do you water till you get runoff? If not all the nutes you feed them just build up within the soil which can lead to a salt buildup which can lockout needed nutrients especially potassium. A lack of K is also much higher in the flowering stage which is one of the major nutes the plant uptakes during this time, can effect terpenes and many other things. I would flush the plants good with plain ph'd water and look for at least a 15-20% runoff for the next watering or 2, then give a feed again and see how they respond. In soil i keep my ph between 6.0-6.5 max but personally I see the best response from my girls between 6.2-6.5. Flushing will wash out the built up salts in the soil allowing the roots to start absorbing the necessary nutrients once again. Hope this helps
Excesses nutrient deficiencies cannabis

ok just to add my root temps are about 23 degrees , should this impact anything ? And do where does it need to be ideally
