Sounds like you've had a good Xmas, I'll try catch up over the next couple of days bro.
Merry Christmas bro. Was good here but busy. I have about 2 weeks then its gonna get worse. I agreed to work 20hrs a week at the plant I used to work in to help them out for 6 months to a yr. Give me a chance to work with my hands a bit. So work office during the week and in the plant on weekends.

More automation I can see in the near future.

So I took 4 more clones of the blueberry dragon cheese 1 week ago. Never cloned in flower before but yeah.... I will never hesitate to do so again. Sure it may take a month for it to fully reveg but I'm almost thinking of not bothering to clone every dam plant from seed and just take cuts of the females that are good candidates in flower from now on.

4/4 7 days since cut. Seems no different than cloning in veg for success rates.

you can wait until you see and smell the actual buds and do it. I have gone to 11.5 weeks successfully.

They look great
Wait till you see the growth explosion, mutant leaves the lot, I think it really helps them once they ge going, you just need a bit extra veg time and lst/pruning

Yeah I definitely think I'm gonna go that route from now on... eliminates so much waste and work. 1 month reveg is definitely worth cutting out all that other shit. This kinda has me thinking of some other things but for now I'll keep that upstairs and ponder.

Those look almost ready but go by the whole plant. They have some damage though... maybe heat?

Not sure I don't think it ever got too hot, I did cut that nug last night and I did handle it a few times before I took those pictures with the scope.

Edit
This nug was damaged, I cut a fan leaf too close a few days before, this nug was starting to dry out thats why I cut this one.

I did this for a while and it works but the structure of the plant changes when the cut is taken from a flowering plant. You end up with insanely branchy plants. Over the top. Like complete rats nest branchy. Essentially every node turns into a new branch immediately and it was a total PITA to prune them constantly.

Yeah I'm think 1 of 2 things. Keep them as mothers and all that extra branching is good for clones numbers.

Or take many clones in flower about a month before harvest and reveg em. Then when the grow is done put all those straight back into flower.... like SOG monster cropping. Still mulling this all over

With SOG especially I'd want each plant to be one main dominant apical branch loaded with buds top to bottom, and pack them in tight. I can see that being extremely difficult to achieve with clones from a monster cropped plant as it can take several generations to revert back to its normal growth characteristics.

I dont mean to poo poo the idea, but thats something to consider. The gnarly bush you get from monster cropping wouldnt lend itself to SOG very well i dont think.

What I do is take the fluffy stuff I missed and root and leave them in little pots going nuts for a few weeks, then once it's a big ball of crazy just prune th thinner shite out, a lot of the growth you get in the middle of the stem is just what I would lollipop and shave off anyway.

Now I know this is probably in my head but I'm sure the monster cropped clones were stickier, almost like she knew this was a 2nd chance to reproduce so tried all the harder to protect her fruit with triches. They also had a lot of stretch in them so they gained a fair bit of height once I pruned the lateral branches out a bit.
