Growing some widows too, kind of a fruity smell right now. And it's crazy how much they vary even though it's the same strain and from the same bank, the 2 I have going are completely different in structure and vertical growth rate.

Seedsman and they are autos so itll be interesting to compare our results

Im certainly nterested to compare results. I would like to try autos some day as well as building a DWC. Best of luck on your second run at the hydroponics!

Update on the heavy Defoliation. This is day 14 of flower. Today I gave them thier first bloom/ripening formula (first two feeds of flower were transition formula). I would say they are doing well considering what they have recently been through. They certainly were stressed from that heavy defoliation and spent some time with little growth. I do think they would have been further along the flowering process if I practiced a more traditional defoliation technique.

Notice the one picture where I have 2 bud sites very close together. This is on top of my thickest branch, where I am hoping to yield my gerthiest nug! Upon light cycle transition (from 18/6 to 12/12), this branch split into two on its own. My concern is these sites will produce 2 large nugs that will be in contact with eachother rendering susceptibility to bud rot.

Is this a rational worry?

From my first on only grow, it seems that mutant plants have potential to out yield standard plants. My mutant is looking the heaviest so far.

I have grown the same strain hundreds of times and it never gets old seeing the different phenos come out of the same beans if you want a consistent result every time you need to select a mother of the pheno you like best then run the hell out of it. Autos do the same thing show out in different ways

Not if your circulation is good i would keep them spread apart and you should be alright i had a white widow have three tops on the main

Been a minute...
I harvested my luscious ladies kn the weekend. I also decided to wet trim since i had the day off. And jeez, it was a 6 hour project trimming all 4 plants.

the stack of nugs with the lighter is 1 plant.

I have them hung in the tent no direct fan, no light, slow steady ventilation, 70 degrees or so, humidity between 42-50.

never achieved and amber trichs, but i was like 10 and a half weeks into flower. So i decided to chop em. Once dried I plan to do a 3 week cure.

thank you everyone for all your help. Such a great group on here. Much love for everyone. Not sure when ill start my next grow, got some moving to do.
