Best location to measure Temp/Humidity

Where is the best location to place a Temp/humidity sensor in ones tent? I just got a new one, with the app.

My old one was placed on the floor with the probe going into the plant. Seemed to work. Well I put the new one inside and hung it at cola level. The temps were much higher and I was now wondering if placement was important.

Any tips on the best location for a temp/humid in a tent? Thanks in advance.

I place mine at canopy level.

Or also get infrared thermometer and check everywhere u want or a pack of the little ones and place them all over the place to find how much of a difference there is in the tent

That's what I thought, thanks. It's warmer in my tent than I thought.

I stick mine in the middle of tent pot level.

I had it there. I put it up near the canopy hanging from top of tent. Readings were very similar. Thanks

I hang the sensors just over the canopy max height and just off center under the lamps. Hottest driest spots.

then adjust circulation fans to try to even out the readings all over the room.
