Use that for flower and the blurple on blue for veg. During veg, imo spectrum is more important than intensity. In flower, you need as high intensity as possible to an extent obviously.
okay cool so stick with the blurple for the rest of this run and keep the full spec in the veg. I'm going to look to invest in a full spec for the flowering area. What wattage would cover a 1.6m x 0.6m best ideally?

Sorry I made that confusing. Blurple on blue for veg. Full spectrum for flower. What I meant by spectrum is important for veg is that plant's are denser when grown under blue light. Full spectrum is best case scenario for both but having full spectrum is most important for flower.

Lights shouldn't be measured in wattage. You want to looks at ppf, ppfd, spectrum, heat and coverage. These are the most important things to consider. For that space, you could use the xs2000 or the xs4000. Both would be good but the xs4000 would be better. A middle ground between them could be 2 xs1500's but that would be the worst option money wise. There are a few other companies that would also be good but I haven't tried them. HLG is known for being the most honest with their lights and are honestly the only company I trust when it comes to specs but their lights are quite expensive.

Yeah thats fine i understand that. What i'm proposing is to move the 200W full spec into the flower space, replacing the 450W blurple currently in there. As the blurple 450W pulls 200W and the Lumatek full spec is a true 200W, should i swap out the 450W for the 200W in the flowering space when im almost 4 weeks into flower or shall i just keep the 450W in the flowering space until this run is done? If you've already said so apologies for missing/misinterpretating it.

So since the 450W blurple pulls only 200W and the Lumatek is a true 200W and also full spectrum, would you recommend swapping out the lights almost 4 weeks into flower or just let this run go and use the Lumatek for the next run?
You mean this, yes?

I would swap it in. That's a good light imo.

Switching lights doesn't matter. You can switch the light as many times as you'd like and the plant won't care.
