I use to use T5 lights in a small tent, but now I have switched to a SolarXtreme 250. My buds have been loose what can I do? The temp in tent is 75-79 F. Is there any thing I can do to bring down the temp. Tent is 4w x 2d x 6h. I need help.

that’s pretty vague..
your temps are fine.,
loose buds can be from a number of things., though primarily low humidity 40-45 for last 2-3 weeks for tight buds.,

Well humidity has never made a difference in density for me but temp sure has.

although in this case i suspect higher nutrient load needed for the new led.

and I would play with distance to the canopy too.

I see the SolarXtreme 250 pulls 200 watts from the wall so it still falls short of the recommended 35 watts per square foot that is recommended for led lighting. I am not a led guy but I think thats what I have read around here. Insufficient light will make for loose buds.

good call.

What if I put another light with it to make up for the missing 80 watts

You might look into the Mars TS1000, 150W actual and affordable.$1/w. I got one to start early tomatoes, then combined it with my CLW SS440 cannabis grows and noticed increased yields. Never had a "loose" bud problem. Good luck.
