HAAALP newbie that gave up

Hey Guys and Gals,

So I'm a new grower and I have had a great time messing everything up haha. It's ok though, I have already done 90% of the mistakes but now I have run into a hurdle. My SSH by ILGM is in week 8 in a 100 Gallon, 8 plant RDWC setup. My biggest issues right now are humidity spikes but that's just when the dehumidifier is full so it's corrected often and I really wasn't prepared for the stretch so they are practically kissing the spider farmer sf 4000s above them. I have if yall think I can get away with a monster crop or have any advice for the height that would be great but I've accepted the mistake and have prepared for the next run appropriately. Now I'm looking at these buds and they seem normal if not super small from the lights id assume. white fluffy tentacles etc but as you can see in the attached pick there is a cola that looks distinctly different from the rest. it just so happens to be in perfect placement under the light but I am panicking that I hermed one. I don't know what to do or when to harvest really. I've seen a lot of people say that this strain may take a bit longer than the usual 10 weeks so that could also explain the size issues. Thanks, guys. I usually used Growdairies.com but the site doesn't operate for me well for many reasons so I'll be more active on here and can't wait to get into the community

Yes, don't over feed, and place your lights higher. lol I've just harvested an Aurora Indica, and it spent six weeks, after the two week stretch, three inches from my HPS light, and nothing happened, your using LED's so you should be fine. Humidity with your set up will be higher, due to the amount of water your playing with. You need better extraction, and run it 24/7.

Plenty of time before you can harvest, you still have stacks of white hairs to turn yet, so stop panicing.

The lights are way too close. There is a sweet range of distance from the light. Closer, and you start getting tassle-like growth like you're getting now. Further away and the buds are very airy.

The trichs on the edges of those leaves are drool-worthy, btw.

Lol Thanks mate I really appreciate it! It's my first run and I've really invested so I'd hate to screw up the end game. With so much of the canopy not receiving light would you just super crop them down at the net or raise the light and leave the rest to fate? I'm gonna check out that Aurora strain though I have yet to even hear about that

Thanks, man I'm just kinda at a loss to troubleshoot. I'm not sure if I should monster crop everything down then so the canopy gets light and raise the light. I'm sure it's too late for that aggressive of an approach though and I should just raise the light and sacrifice everything on the edges.

Fate, the plant knows what it's doing. But if you can eke out another six inches you'd be onto a winner.

Lol wish him luck for me man. Im sitting at 730 on the 500 TDS scale. I just did a res change last night and I added 400Ml Aqua flakes A & B Then 100 Ml of top shooter. I ran out of all the other addatives like bud Xl etc. The whole system is right under 100 gallons so my cheap ass does about 1 Ml to a gallon. This strain seems sensitive though so Ive only seen burning and nothing in the viens of the leaf to show a defficiency. They are a bit darker now in flower though and some of the top ones feel dry but thats that light most likely ugh. Gotta find those extra 6 inches like Chemistry mentioned lol.
