Are there only about 5 or 6 of us actually taking part now? I know @MHippie lost his early on due to time. There was loads of interest in the beginning too 😕. Oh well, how many categories are there again? 😂.

Forgot to water my mother's twice never mind these. Note to self: set capillary matting as soon as roots are through bottom of cups
I've been doing a test run sitting in a tray of water 1/4 inch deep. Week 3 of flower. So far so good. GG4 on the left...crappy cut 👎 Hot mess on the right.. much better adapted 👍

Sorry didnt explain myself.Im not going to be in the contest.Im going to do it outside cause know i gotta gotta know if i can do worth a shit or not...lol.Mad scientist.Gonna be doing a grow diary on my tent.Ill post what i do with that cup there.

Ok getting this more organized on my end. Time to start taking notes and figuring out the best way to do this. My trial run cups with the LST are not exactly thriving so I may change the approach on some of these.

Numbered 1-4 in the order that I like them haha.

Looking great guys n gals a little tip you need more holes in your cups try to get them up the side of the solo cup at 1/4 of the way up it will let the water n feed pass quicker getting more oxygen down in those roots mass . Regards Od .
Mine all have little triangle holes on the bottom rim of the cup, drain holes in the bottom, and the secret you can't see, they've got razor slits all round the cup vertically 1/3rd length of the cup alternating, if I push on the top of the cup it opens up, almost like a Chinese lantern.

I'm on making edibles, so no pics tonight, just recycled stuff, you can just see slits on it though haha

I mean the cup not the slits where my eyes should be 😜🤣🤣

Still here, but my balmy winter went south and suffered through a number of cold rainy days. Had a few clear days over the weekend and another storm blowing in tonight. Only have 10.5 hours of light (and really only about 6 hours of sun, so doing some indoor blurple to keep above 12 hours). The plan was to keep my light hours low so I can move outside permanently ASAP.

Slight mod to 3 of 4. Trying to break the apical dominance without topping. 🤷‍♂️

Need to be careful of tipping over later if their centre of gravity is off. I'm thinking of fimming the tropicana poison as she's quite a stretchy lady when straight topped, I'm hoping the extra work load of the lateral branching plus still making a top cola keeps her in check.
