What's up everybody...back at it again after a successful run with a few CBD strains.
Moving on now to an indica grow with one of my past favorites.
Started with 10 GDP seeds, germinated all 10 and got 9 of the 10 to germinate in about 24 hours.
So I've managed to get three more of the CBD seeds(Kush ET)from my last run and since my wife prefers to smoke CBD only I'm going to throw them into the mix also.
I have started the seeds in an organic miracle grow mix. NPK levels are pretty typical of a bag mix from Lowes.
I'll be transferring into Fox farm mix but I'm still undecided on which one to go with....maybe you guys and gals can help with that decision.
Going to stick with a fox farm fert trio again with some added cal mag among others.

Im going to be swapping out my 4 gallon plastic containers for 5 gallon smart pots...I'll be topping all these girls once they reach 4-5 nodes and adding a Scrog net.

My last grow was done with a single 1000w HPS/MH along with a 400w LED for supplemental light around the edges I'd like to add another 2000 watts at leastfor this grow.
Id like some input on which LED to go with that isn't crazy expensive.

So yea...a pretty basic grow right now. Planning on adding an automated watering system with a run off catchment system later on before they canopy out too much.

Thanks planewreck!
So a quick question for all of you out there....
I found this cheap ass LED I wanted to try out for seedlings. It days it's a 600w light but I'm sure it's more like 300w.
I previously had some T8 bulbs on these young plants.
Do you guys/gals think this led would be better suited for starting plants than my couple of T8 bulbs that I've been using?
I'm currently using both the veg and bloom diodes on this light just for more of a full spectrum....should I be running veg only?
Any input is appreciated.

I also have this other led...it's in the form of a street light currently.
Seems to be 40 10w LEDS...but I don't know which diode they are.

Ok so I've done a bit more research on this street light I have acquired.
According to the model number its a 400 watt light that has a color temperature of 4000k.
It has a 1000mA(1amp) driver in it. The spec sheet shows an efficacy of 87 lumens/watt with this hardware configuration. So at 400watts that would put the output lumens of this light at 34,800 lumens.
I have no idea if that is good or not....any of you leds guru's out there got any input?

Itll get you going, but i think you will need more to flower.

Well its a 400 watt led so should be able to handle a 4x4 space but you have to see how the light spread will work as it is likely too focused up close since its designed to light up the road from the top of a pole.

Seedlings don’t need much light, use the fluorescent fixture, not too bright and not on top of the solo cups...
After they get bigger is the only time I’d use bluple or led lighting.

System wattage is the key to figuring the wattage of this light, so your light is either 108, or 138 watts...

Well the system wattage would be 138 if you have the 1000ma driver.

Good luck with your grow Tango.I wish you the best.Us GDP brothers gotta stick together.
