First grow in 12 years or so, I believe i put them in DWC too early (didnt wait for roots to be out of rockwool) and was top feeding. So i may technically be set back a week.

Im not necessarily stuck on a date or time, was just wondering height mostly because im not sure what to expect. I know theres alot of variables here. Guess I was mostly interested in at what height you look to flip, and how tall you expect them to be when done.

I will say youre a goddamn badass. I thought hydro grew a little quicker but you haven't slacked off any. Impressive, thats why im here

So, I think the shortest of the plants were around 14-15 inches when I flipped, the tallest were probably 5-7 inches higher so 20-22 inches total. Nothing has stretched much either, as we'll see tomorrow.

Yes, hydro will show impressive growth, if it's dialed in. But everything has to be nearly perfect. I started in hydro 30+ years ago, gave it up after 3 years when I felt the system ran too "hot"....... meaning even the smallest mistake would have a negative impact. That's why I like Pro-Mix, it's very forgiving and gives you a chance to correct mistakes or issues.

But you have to remember I'm new to LED's and for me it's a guessing game with heights as these Gavita's are keeping things short and bushy.

And no one has called me a "badass" since.......well, NEVER! LOL

Yes, some plants are the tallest yet. But only maybe 6-7. Most stayed short, but all are manageable. Its all relative, still nothing over 3 feet and I’ll measure for sure in the morning.

Yes, we like the house. Custom built 20 years ago, in a cul-de-sac and nicely isolated. Very rural area. Problem is Maryland is one of the top 5 worse states for elderly, top 2 last I looked. When the wife retires in 5 years or so, we’re outa here. I’m from PA, wife is from NJ originally, might head to south jersey shore area. My parents owned a summer place on the beach there while I was growing up, might want to go back.

For those interested, the shortest plant in the room is 18 inches and the tallest is 50 inches............quite a spread, that's why I separated taller to one side and shorter ones to the other side- so it would be easier to manage the height of the LED's.

Although I may flip before these finish ill be watching to see what they end up at. I think ill wait for them to get around a foot tall and see what happens. Those at 50 inches would probably max me out with tent only being 6 ft tall. Of course I could do some training if that problem arises.

Thanks again sir

I started making a new batch of gummies this afternoon since I'm out....... with the last of the coconut oil made with the Gasm, Zombie and Turkish Cookies. buds. And I realized I only had 2 small boxes of jello. The recipe calls for 1 large box. One of them was grape (my favorite) and the other was orange. What to do??????? I just mixed them together for a flavor explosion. I'll report back tonight when I eat one what they taste like...... sometimes you just need to improvise to make do.

Below is the plant that has been yellowed since veg, it just refused to green up even after a thorough flush and some individual attention. Today is the first day I see it starting to come back with some color in it. It's been budding nicely, it just stayed yellow this whole time.

I haven't shown that plant for a reason......it was chicken yellow up until a few days ago. Strange plant, refused to green up til now. It's been budding fine all along, that's why I didn't pull her out of the room.

I've also been giving everything 5ml of Massive to everything, basically 25% of recommended rates.

Let’s talk about this for a minute.........the Gasm and Zombie stayed nicely short, with an incredibly even canopy. I topped the Gasm (sativa) once, but not the zombie (Indica). LED’s were hung in a consistent manner, 36 inches in veg and 20 inches in flowering. Day and nights temps were kept within 5 degrees of each other.

Currently, with the Candy, I’ve finally been able to get more stretch out of a strain that’s 50/50 indica/ saliva. What’s changed was the higher Led hanging height in veg and a wider temp spread at night- around 15 degrees. No topping with this strain........

it will be interesting to see which side yields better, the shorter side or the taller one.......

Ill go short side by 6 oz just for shits n giggles..id force feed chicken yellow bit more of massive just to see if it increases the size abit..but i like how your feeding them giving them the less in more approach.im finding that you dont necessarily need to give them high doses of synthetic nutes.the girl i have outside only got to 700ppms and she has jags of budsites she has to support twice the amount of the indoor girls so that says something.

I suspect the shorter side will yield better because 1) better canopy and 2) more compact plant structure. The taller plants are spread out like Xmas trees, these won’t yield as well. Each grow I’m learning something, and I remain obsessed with defoliation, way more than any other issue. But here comes UV-B in 3-4 weeks.........

Doesn’t look like a heavy yielded to me.....how many plants are in there and how long did you veg?

i want to see all the buds sites join to form one large cola, which isn’t happening here. Things look healthy though, wondering if ito just the strain or lights weren’t close enough?
