Best clear picture I could get . All trichomes are still clear ...maybe an odd few are cloudy. How long would be an estimate before I should be looking toward harvest? Just entered 5th week of flowering

Yeah it's a virtue that I just dont usually have but I'm cool if it has to go another 3 or 4 wks. Was given to me and told it was fruity pebbles. Have no idea on anything as far as strain info on it

once those hairs start to rest/curl back onto the bud, you’ll be close than.

Check back in 7 days. Show the plant and then the tri like you did.
Checking back in with some new pics of trichomes and plant. About 10 days since last pics but now leaves are starting to curl and die

Also,I was wrong about timeframes. Original pics were start of 6th wk flowering.
New pics are end of 7th wk,going into 8th of flowering.

Thats great. That means its about to the end of the season and time to harvest. Id give it a 3 day flush. Then let it dry out for 2 or 3 days then chop them.

Sweet!!! I was hoping it was time. My eyesight is so darn bad that I cant tell if its cloudy tri's or cloudy eyes🤣

Yeah i tell by 2 things. The leaves falling off end of season. Or by paying attention to how icy the tris get from week 7 to week 10. I monitor them i notice they get shiney like diamonds when its ready to chop down.

If youre really growing to grow its best to monitor every step of the way each individual characteristics of the strain your growing.

New to growing but I'm sure I can get better as my knowledge expands. I'll be doing plenty of reading and research for my next attempt.
Thanks

i was just reading this. the plant knows it is the end of its days, it stops taking nourishment. so, flushing, that is not adding any additional supplement to water, just water, is the thing to do. the plant would not uptake the nutes anyway. the study said (i love that canada is legal, the unis there are doing some great documentation and studies). so, when you see the leaves brown, or age like that, it is time to "flush"... or... you did something to her and she will attack you in your sleep! mwahahaha

Quick question on flushing. How much should I run through them and once a day for the 3 days?

that is a hot subject, but the study i read says, just cut nutes. water, not wash out. (this was the cost effective result, since the plant didnt use the nutes or the extra water for any significant value. it said in running 24 plants, in control groups of 4, so 6 groups, they did the differing watering and flushing techniques and said no statistically significant differences in any. that the chemical analysis of the plant and its runoff showed the plant took no nutes during the time. many will swear by one thing or the other, and i have no personal hands on experience with the differing ideologies, so i am just telling of a study done... if it were me, i would follow the farmers here on this... but i am aware of the study and thought i would pass it along.

Depends on what you are growing with. What do you use?

Then give it half gallon ph water only for 3 days. That should finish her off then wait for 4 or 5 days. Until the pot feels super light. Then harvest. Next time cut it down right after you flush see which smokes better.
