My Storm Shadow (White Widow x Arise) clone finished, with about 15% amber — 53 days from flip! The seed the mother came from went more than 10 weeks. Anyway, here she is in front of the Backdrop Of Death. She was an extra clone that I had rooted and was put in a smaller pot and was behind the seed plants in growth. This plant can get much larger than this, with 4 weeks of veg and a bigger pot. Regardless, she's about 30 inches (75 cm) from soil to top.

An easy-to-grow plant.

In a surprise twist, one of the Golden Goats had about 25% amber, and met the Garden Clippers of Death, just moments ago.

Scent is intense tropical fruit and spice, with a little musk. When I removed her from the tent, I realized that she dominated the scent of the tent, all this time. The other plants have a nice scent when you rub the trichs, but this one was in the center of the tent and I rarely touched it. It stank all on its own.

A regular candelabra of delight (I hope). Until now, I just called this plant The Short One. But now I see it's the Nice Well-Behaved One That Finishes in Less Than Nine Weeks.

Bonus: I didn't murder the clone.

She's only 2 feet tall, measured from the soil surface, but seems like she could be made to produce. Buds are meaty.

Her sister, on the other hand, has 100% clear trichs and maybe one or two orange pistils per bud. I think she'll go 11 weeks. Needless to say, I hope this is The One, though the other smells similarly, with a touch more spice.

The blueberry scented Bebop (Arise x Blueberry Cookies) got too close to the garden clippers, in spite of my warnings, and ended up hanging by her ankles.

Here she is, posing for her prom photos.
IMG 6433

Ignoring that wayward branch hanging down, which should have been clipped off weeks ago, she needed no support. Her two sisters, still among the living, are also strongly structured plants.

Nice, strong blueberry scent, though I don't think the breeder was going for that. One of the remaining plants seems like a 50/50 combination of blueberry + the cookies minty scent + earthy, fuel, garbage dump stank.

Here she is saying goodbye, before the unfortunate, garden clipper-related accident, alluded to earlier.

The other two Bebop gals met their fates earlier this morning. They look similar, but one has a combination of blueberry, mint cookie + Texas Chemical Plant Fire, the other is pure Texas Chemical Plant Fire. Here's the combo-scented gal:
IMG 6444

She's almost exactly 1 meter tall, from soil to highest top, needed no support and was generally an easy grow, easy to please kind of plant. She was topped once and super-cropped a few times. She is what I would call a well-behaved plant

Her sister, with the TCPF scent, was in a back corner of the tent and was leaning on a tent wall. She didn't get any support during the grow, but I put a stake in there for the pic:

She got a little close to the LEDs, which I'll have to watch in the future. Otherwise, buds are pretty as can be.

Combo scented one:

TCPF scented one:

After drying (no cure yet), the blueberry one developed some fuel scents, so the TCPF scent may become stronger after drying.

The last two plant of this grow met the Grim Clipper this morning, after 12 weeks. The buds will look great after trimming, but due being unable to take advice about dimming LEDs and needing to learn the hard way, on my own, the fan leaves of these two look kind of rough.

This is my purple Sugar Punch. She was in the center row in the back of the tent, so I almost never got a close look at her. Around week 7 or 8, I started thinking, "What's wrong with that one?" It looked quite green up until it didn't.

She's sweet n' fruity, but not quite as sweet smelling has her green sister. Like any Sannie sativa dom, she tries to make big colas. I was able to tame this one to make medium-sized colas

A lower bud:

My second Golden Goat also came down. The first one was done in 53 days, this one was on day 84. They look very different, though the scents are relatively similar (tropical fruit + different amounts of a spice scent)

This one has buds shaped like bottle brushes.

This plant did not die pretty!

As far as keepers in this grow go, it looks like the Golden Goats are it, so far. I have not tried the Sugar Punch or this Golden Goat yet, and really haven't given the Planet of the Grapes plants a fair test yet.

For some reason, I can't feel some indica doms, even when they have a high THC content. Judging from an advanced taste of the PotG, I think this strain is one of them.

Keeper Update:

I plan on doing smoke reports for all of these, but preliminary, partially cured tests have been made.

NO DOUBT I'll run all Golden Goats again, to see which I'll finally keep. This is a potent, high-flying sativa, without much in the way of edginess. It seems like a crowd pleaser. For a similar sativa WITH edginess, try Lemon Sunrise.

I might keep one of the three Bebop gals — the one that's about a 50/50 mix between the parents. It's the most potent and most fun buzz. The Blueberry Cookies pheno is also really nice, but I've had a lot of similar hybrids and I'm sure more will be coming down the pike. The Texas Chemical Plant Fire pheno just isn't potent enough to keep.

The Planet of the Grapes gals are odd. Ever smoke reefer with high lab test results, but it doesn't get you much of a buzz? One of the three gals is like that. Not that I had her tested, but the scent and smoke seem like they must be loaded with goodies. Then I smoke it and… nothing much.

A second PotG was somewhat better, but not great, and these were the two that were frostiest.

The third gal, who didn't look very frosty while growing, blew me the fuck away when I tried her while trimming her. Under magnification, it looks like her trichs are much smaller than her sisters'. I'll have to try her again, without benefit of scissor-hash.

I took a quick taste of the green Sugar Punch, but I was already heavily buzzed. I didn't feel her cut through, at all. I'll have to give her another shot on a clean head. I may have to send my brain out for dry cleaning.

Yup....the one that stands out most to me is jenny kush. It was dispensary bud though.

Tbh i don't like the buzz on cookies strains in general as far as i can tell.

That report on golden goat is very enticing....put it in my memory bank for when I'm thinking about new seeds again...

The one cookies cross that I really like is Kush Mints, but I'm not sure really how much "cookie" is in it. The terps smell great on Bebop, but I don't think I've yet found a keeper 50/50ish hybrid.

I don't have a lot of experience w cookies to be clear. Just what i have had has been.....fine?

I truly find the culture around cookies, og kush, and clone only west coast stuff to be utterly impenetrable to my midwestern ass. I'm sure some dealers had some real fire at some point.....idk.....
