This looks much like what I encountered in the 70s only what I saw were skinnier and tied (like these) onto the "sticks," which may have been weed stems. A friend in the Pacific northwest showed me a trash bag in a closet filled with them and it was fabulous.
I can't imagine how you hung onto these so many years and, hopefully, you'll find a seed or two. I recall seeds were rare but there were the occasional finds. Thanks for sharing!

I remember that as well, but thoes 70's hazes were fairly well seeded. Being an Equatorial strain, they never truly finished, and would eventually herm.
However, the farmers who understood this would harvest them before they became too seeded. That was the best! It had such an intensity, as it's terp profile is like nothing I've had since the 80's. It's still gotta be around, just extremely rare, and hard to find.
The Europeans, Americans......pretty much destroyed all the landraces by breeding, and farming.
Pollin flys a very very long way. In the fall in S Spain, the pollen from Africa can travel to S Europe. That's amazing.
Even true Jamaican weed is gone. Hopefully there have been some of a few of these strains preserved.People got greedy, and wanted larger harvests

Been to Pattaya Beach a few times over the years. Roll up a stick, pull the stick out and light her up. Have a banana split for breakfast while sitting on hotel room balcony and smoking Thai. Life don’t get any better.

The paranoia really sucked (s) . Stoners are usually Mellow nice people. When we were young, and people were, and still are getting serious time for one of gods gifts, greed made it dangerous. People wanting to share a good time, or make a little $ put everyone in a position that could turn out to be (i hate to say it), but deadly.
So stupid looking back, but what could we do?

And that guys video isint a true representation of real Thai st , it was a chocolate / red color with small bits and pieces tied with a white bamboo filament , much thinner than the the one in the video

At least that's how I remember it , most amazing weed ever

Anyway, 10 bucks was pretty expensive. By the time my generation could find something that exotic, we were paying $75 an 8th in NY. Mainland USA, NY had to be one of the few places you could ever find it. It was rare too. Maui was very nice too

Any show from late 68- through 73 was an historical event. It's too bad they did record all their shows. They were playing Mozart, while everyone rlse. EVERYONE was playing 3 blind mice. When the music world lost Zeppelin, music has been lost since. I've liked, and listened to other bands, but in my honest opinion, they were the best band of all time, of all genres.
You're lucky!! Im almost positive i have the audio for that show. The only problem is it comes and goes, as it's taken down.

Never saw the Stones, Zeppelin or Floyd. But I saw Hendrix June 19, 1970 in Albuquerque. Had about 100 hits of Orange Sunshine I picked up 2 weeks before in Laguna Beach along with 50 horse caps of chocolate mescaline.

There wasn’t any disco ball.

Certainly the best imo, and a very memorable show , the best "concert i ever went to was strawberry fields concert just outside of Toronto. Canadians version of woodstock. Was 17 yo.
