Yes and I think it's a good idea to do so 24 hrs before. After filling soak the media down to ensure its all moist. This will give it time to dry a bit and ensure you have a nice moist media and not soaking wet.

If you need to yes, but I would keep it dry until ready to plant.
Few was to skin a cat... I think it's a benefit to wet it before. The time between allows it drain and not worry about over watering as they will already have some transplants shock. Plus no risk of roots in dry soil trying not to over water.

But you can definitely transplant and then water... as many do this all the time.

well i got my seeds in a moist paper towel inside a ziplock back sitting on a heating mat at 70 degrees tomorrow i will get my pots ready

i got 6 plants popping out of the pro mix and perlite mix i was talking about i watered till run off when i made the mix a few hours later dropped the seed in that was 2 or 3 days ago the 5 pots are still wet is that good for the seedling 1 pot is starting to dry out a lil

it took almost a gallon of water to soak each pot this stuff seems to really hold the water in

so here they are all 6 i watered them all the same time with a gallon of water each its been 2

or 3 days since then why is the one drying out faster then the other ? and with the ones that still look wet is that gonna make them be like overwatered if they dont get a dry spell in 2 or 3 days ?

What's that in the corner by that pot.

Placement of pots can affect this if It's closer to a heat source or receiving more direct airflow on the soil.

5 gallon bucket with a 12 inch oscillating fan on it there is also another in the opposite corner sitting on the floor its a 9 inch it doesn't oscillate

Is there a bit more airflow around that pot?... switch the wettest one there are watch over a few days if it dries a bit faster... im betting it does

Remember airflow will change once you zip up the tent so take that into account

well should i have more airflow or is it normal for pots to dry at different rates

Nah you have plenty by the sounds of it... just rotate the pots a bit. It's not going to impact the plants. Just that one may need watered sooner but I think your a ways from that. The pots should be light before you water again.

im starting to wonder if i made a mistake or maybe im just worrying too much for nothing i watered 5 or 6 days ago and there still wet the seedling do like fine

In a mixed coco soil treat it like soil. Check runoff here and there.

This may help you understand the implications of media and pot size and give some insight as to what's going on in yours.

Ok back to hockey commercials over lol

I got one too, seems ok so far, heres the ingredients. Being compressed, i thought it would be superdry but its not
