Almost... but some I know are still using DE,HPS fixtures. Some are playing with mixing DE HPS and LED for the spectrum tweaks.
Not to start an argument, I think that LED is absolutely awesome. But I still think there is a place for HID too. Especially growing in Canada where it's cold a lot.

massive glowsticks in red and blue are the future believe it or not. (Not). Basically a big free blurple light source you just bend the bars when you need lights on for the day. Your grow room looks like a night club or rave pit. Super!

The energy savings are unbelievable. Plus glow sticks are cool!

So i bounced theough the thread, looks like a nice grow. If i got this right, the SF1000 has 208 leds drawing 5 watts each with the dimmer all the way up, the 2000 has 200w in to push 400 leds? Have you used the dimmer?

No, the total wattage on full is 100w. I've never dimmed it.

Starting flush some time this week. I'm starting to get fox tails as this strain does under some LEDs.

To think, the entire tent takes less power than my PC. 🤯

Just feed the branches through the holes of the net as the plant grows. Spreading the branches to fill the net.
BigCube..I’m only doing a small 4 plant grow and feeding mine by watering can ..I had a scrog net up ,but ended up taking it down ,because it was a bit of a pain trying to get into watering them ..by the looks of your pics there ,that’s another blunder I’ll learn from ..are you using an irrigation set up ,if so should I invest ,or just not be so lazy ??I know the answer to the lazy bits, that’s ,common sense ..but the irrigation setup is a serious question ..I won’t be too far out from starting my next grow and if that’s what you can do with the scrog net ,then the next time it will stay up ..any info is golden mate?? ..thanks ..ps you’re plants are beauty’s

Well, I elevate my pots a little to make extracting runoff easy. I used to do it with a shopvac then a giant water syringe. But it's much easier to have them drain in to a small pitcher.

I then measured the height I need to dump a full pitcher in and leave the space between the pot and net. That's my net height lol.

Hope that helps. I didn't spend much on the setup. The stainless trays, the footstools and the pitchers all come from the dolar store.

Thanks for that ,BigCube..it looks cracking Nate ..that will be noted for theses next ones ..and the scrog nets going back up ..is tell me ..would you say it would be worth putting up the scrog net for maybe the last maybe 2& 1/2 weeks ..I started overdrive on that one ,I think I may have started 2feeds too early ..I’m keeping my fingers crossed anyways ..but the other 3 well they’re at least between a week and maybe 10 days behind ,so they gave the best part of could be 4 weeks left..I know it sounds strange bug had mine under a silly burple 600 watt light, not too much out put to the plant. I did get a full spectrum 1000 watt& Wow..that 1st plant I said about the overdrive, has thrived, another I put under next to it is catching up and I left the 2 smaller ones and the are small mate under the burble. Done a side by side and it’s like the burple is keeping them ok till the bigger ones are finished under the full spectrum..I’ll send you a couple of pics..been here for a bit but still finding my way round thc farmer and have met a few good people..I’ll leave you a couple of pics..they’re nothing like yours ..and it’s good to know about the dollar store ..cause I’m sick of being out of pocket..lols..it’s my first time buddy..here’s the pics, don’t laugh too much ,hopefully hear bck ..remember it’s a side by side, none of it was planned though ..and thanks..have the best night

I found the burple LED was not doing its thing with mine .but I also know where I was going wrong ,it was only 600w and I was trying to grow 4 plants under it ,oh they were small ,I managed to rescue a couple I think by adding a full spectrum led light 1000 W..phizon..that I think us working wonders ,defo with a couple ..I’ve done a side by side 2 under each and there’s an enormous, but I’m a first timer. I ain’t got a clue..but it defo works wonders in saving energy ..that’s a defo .over n out

I have 2 LEDs one blue spec and the other Red. Do you guys trust tthem?? I mean I was always told by old ass Norcal farmers that the high wattage and heat is what gives you the bomb ass buds. Is that true? I mean it makes sense that the UVA B spectrum is flowertime but LEDs dont make much heat.

I’m not to sure about that ,tge blue and the red ..I was using a 600watt burple led ,blue&red spectrum and I’m not sure if it was because I was maybe trying to do too many,I had 4 under it,I then added a phizon 1000 watt Led full spectrum and my plants ,well one of them started to fly and look great ,I sort of did a side by side ,2under the burple and 2under the full spectrum, the full spectrum blew the burple out of the water buddy ..It’s my 1st grow,so I’m know expert ..I’ll post a pic from about a week and a half ago and you’ll see the difference, the blue and red spectrum are in the left ,the full spectrum on the right.I’m not too positive,if could just be the wattage and my in experience, but now I’ve took the burple down and added another phizons (they’re not the best but have Samsung diodes and look a whole lot similar to the spyder full spectrum,I know because they look ,it doesn’t make them the same)but check out my pic and you’ll be able to decide for yourself..I hope that helps ,maybe someone more experienced can point you a bit better than myself ..hope you get on ok and happy growing..check the pic out ,you’ll see what I mean )I’ve also put a pic up if the burpke on its own with a couple other ,I think you’ll notice the bigger and better buds are the ones from under the full spectrum, tge little ones that weren’t coming on ,fingers crossed they will now I have the other full spectrum up are from the burple .happy growing and peace out
