I tried that method I would personally have a rubber tube coming out if the too and into another just full of water to try and filter it. Made my tent smell like shit, like unbaked bread still has that smell kind of. I'm getting proper CO2 next time, with a tank, regulator and meter, it'll be worth never smelling that trash again lol

Too much of an investment and too little return for me in 3x3 tents.

A couple tips for anyone making their own co2 though:

Dont ferment grains or just sugar, ferment fruits instead. Grains will always smell like bread and sugar has no smell so the yeast will be the only thing to smell.

Dont use bread yeast. Use champagne yeast. Bread yeasts smell more bready. They also stop converting at around 10% or so. Champagne yeast goes up to 19 to 20%

Hope this helps any of you DIY guys and gals 👍

I'd rather use baking soda and vinegar bombs to up cO2 and plus I'd make a volcano like I did in 1992 for a science fair. Not really sure what the science was the chemical reaction or the fact a volcanos eruption is nothing like adding baking soda to water it's more of a throwing pure sodium in water type deal followed by liquid rock that will destroy anything in its path at roughly 800-1200°C or 1400-2500°F. I've always wanted to light a joint off some Lava totally natural like the Volcano intended

I use Potassium Bicarbonate foliars. Decomposition of the Potassium bicarbonate: 2 KHCO3 → K2CO3 + CO2 + H2O. This reaction is employed to prepare high purity potassium carbonate. (+energy is released). Warning: This can burn a plant, needs to be done lightly, and I use surfactant's to buffer the reaction. In addition to the CO2 and Water molecules produced. foliage of plants afflicted with black spot, powdery mildew, brown patch and other fungal diseases is cured.

I probably need to verify that it's occurring with a CO2 meter, but I'm 99% sure that's what's happening, by looking at the growth afterwards. But the plants can only take so much of this kind of application, there's a limit. Really effective in closed spaces, and extremely simple to apply.

I actually have Potassium Bicarbonate I used it in my outdoor last year to keep the PM from spreading. It was a lost cause though 2 storms in a row winds of 80km and my plants were covered by poly all 6 sides woke up and they were covered in mud ever plant from the crown to the ground. I put the potassium bicarbonate away you cant save it after that bud rot set in before I could even hose then down

Its going off and sucking up it's juice
1100 ppm with cal mag and potash booster
The side buddies are doing just fine
Don't look to hard they will make you blind
With crude CO2 mix in a brew , just check out this grow as your passing through . To the tune of BAD medicine show ... @dire wolf 😉🐺 day 20 of 12/12 .
