Help For A Friend (Mold/Fungus?)

A friend of mine is growing Northern Lights Autos. His leaves started looking like this around the bottom. I said it may be mold/fungus, but wasn’t sure. Any ideas? Thanks

oh my that’s rough bad looking leaf..
to be honest you need to post pics of the plant itself and maybe a couple of them.,
kinda looks like it needs food,, but..

Looks really deficient on phos and maybe who knows but I agree with gnicks. That looks awfully bad. Probably pH would be my guess but its a blind one

Thanks. He was thinking it was lack of nutrients. That’s probably it. His plants are flowering, so he’s pretty much called it a loss. He just wanted to know for next grow
