How much do you water? What kind of media is it in now? How much before and. how much water how often? Hot pot season is a real thing, even in that 10 gal pot there putting hay around the base should protect it pretty good
I have 7 plants, I have a 2 gallon watering bucket. I was watering every morning and splitting the 2 gallons between all 7. I’ve since cut back. Just a mix of good soil, a little manure and some perlite and worm castings. Those are 25 gallon bags.

He said the bottom was damp. There is a huge difference between "wet" and "damp". Fuck the heat wave he went threw. You are 100% right. Lmao I bet your leaves shade themselves when they are over watered also.
The very bottom was damp, the rest was very dry.

ok the top looks to be upright?
just leave them till tomorrow no watering for that one..
generally when the leaf stem is in a somewhat upright position but the leave is hanging down is a sign of watering too frequently.. when the leaf stem is hanging loose limp down and the leaf too it’s too dry and needs too be watered..

Pulling up a chair to the over/under water debate. Keep the pictures coming. If you throw a pallet under the pots it’s easier to gauge the runoff (and see if it’s draining out one area or is more uniform).

i agree but i’m leaning on overwatered that’s why i said post pictures everyday so we can watch and get things back on track without creating stress..
tomorrow should be either water or not too water..
I don't disagree with overwatered, nor with heat stress. I was just +1 pulling up chair for the debate lol. I enjoy debates as long as they stay civil

Hey guys. Today’s update. It rained lightly here for four hours this morning and they are looking much better! Just a little tacoing now, not much droop anymore. I put a gauge in and ph is high 6 to 7 on the plants tacoing and mid 6 on the ones doing great. What can I get at Home Depot to lower ph? My gauge also has a moisture gauge and even after rain just says moist and not wet. What is EC? Sorry I’m a second year rookie.

Personally I'd not mess with it a 6.5 - 7 being soil, just keep rolling with what your doing (i.e. shade and monitoring watering) get the boat upright before taking it further if you catch my drift.

EC - electrical conductivity, used essentially everywhere but US, typically you will see PPM - parts per million in US. Both are used to measure nutrient concentration in a solution

I think someone else already said it, but if you can get the pots up off ground on pallet or something it will help the roots dry more evenly.

I also got one of those 3 in 1 meters when I started, don't think they actually work to great, so I started measuring ph of my runoff not the actual soil

2 gallons between 7 plants in 25 gallon bags?! I do at least a gallon each morning in 5’s and 7.5’s. Soil needs a good drench, and rain isn’t enough, the leaves actually shed rain.
