Well I jumped on the LED wagon with both feet and spent $750 on a new light. Though I love my 630w luxx cmh I don't like it's cost to run. So the light I purchased is the phantom photbio mx 680w LED. The light normally goes for 850-1000 so I feel I got a deal at 750 just hope it performs as well or better than my cmh. What do you guys think? Anyone running these?

I think 680W high quality LED will outperform 630 CMH, but you said because of cost?? 680 watts of LED is gonna cost more than 630 watts of an HID, watts are watts bro lol

Unless you were using a significant amount of energy with an A/C, but you will probably still need A/C with the LED, just not as much.

Well hopes are high. As far as the light I have noticed tighter nodes, and overall plants are very short and bushy. Still vegging though only at 85%.
LEX you are correct the ac cost to keep the cmh cool was killing me. I love it in the winter though. With this led my tent is alot easier to cool. And a side note, I love the dimming control when maintaining plants.
Pics coming soon..
