Hi everyone! My name is Tony and I'm from Los Angeles. A big cannabis enthusiast and now in my fifth week of my first grow. I know I will learn a lot from you all therefore I thank you for your help. I have no previous grow experience, however, I've done a few reading online and received a few tips from friends. I would like your feedback on these beautiful ladies. Quick note, during the vegetation stage, my timer was not properly set and they received light 24hrs instead of 18/6.

Strain: Gelato (Clones).
Medium: Coco + Perlite + Soil.
Nutrients: Lotus.
Weeks 4 1/2 weeks Veg, 1 week Flowering (Some pruning made in the 4th day of flowering).
Stage: Flowering.
PH: 5.8 - 6.0.
Lighting: Phantom PHENO 440 LED.
Room Temp: 70 - 80 degrees.
Room Humidity: 45 - 55.

They look fine to me! You just gave em a bit of extra light to start with! Happy growing!

Thank you. It's a learning process from here, they definitely received extra light. I'm guessing if the lighting was properly set they might look different than now, that's just me guessing.

Maybe they might be a bit bigger? Did you notice any stunting?

Hey Tony! They look fantastic, congrats! Looks like a great soil mix, good-sized planters, lots of light, you're doing it right :)

Have you looked into training techniques to maximize yields? They are not mandatory by any means but can be fun to experiment with. I find topping is the easiest training technique with the best results.. that's when you chop the new growth off around the 3rd to 5th node, which will allow 2 colas to grow instead of just one. There's more info on topping/ other training techniques in this article: https://www.grobo.io/blogs/growing/10-advanced-cannabis-growing-techniques

Overall, looks like you're doing an amazing job! Make sure to keep us updated on their progress :)

Hey plantlover84! I appreciate your words of motivation.

I haven't really put mind to other training techniques to maximize my yield yet. However, it is something I will need to learn more since it will be helpful. I'm in the flowering stage right now I don't think it will be ok to go with the topping technique I'm thinking. Per Grobo, the best time for topping is "in its third or fourth week of vegetative growth, when it has 4-6 nodes or sets of branches." I did remove some of the lower fan leaves and left some on the top to be removed at the 15th day.

Thanks for sharing the article link, I did some skimming. Great info!

I'll keep you guys updated on the progress :)
