They seem to be loving their new homes. I did some more LST after I took these pictures. So my Big question is What, When, and If I should feed them anything. Right now they are in 5 Gallon Buckets with proper drainage with Happy Frog. I'm watering with water I have held in a reservoir as I read the chlorine in the tap water will kill the microbes that actually feed the plant in the Happy Frog soil. I was recommended Chicken Soup for cannabis once in flower at half strength. I was wondering if I should feed them anything in Veg or is the Happy Frog enough. I do have a little Coast of Maine Lobster compost mixed in but not much probably a gallon and half into 14 gallons. Should I top dress with more Coast of Maine compost if so when during veg or flower or both. Is there any products or methods people recommend for veg and flower? I realize just about everyone has a different method that works for them. I realize I need to find a method that works for me. I'm just looking for a nudge in the right direction. Also looking for an over all how I'm doing. I'm in MA I'm hoping I'm as far along as I should be.

Just got in from work. I'm going to do some research now on what I should be feeding them. I'm in MA not sure if region comes into play here. I figured I would start by researching other peoples grow journals from my Region. I'm looking for something simple a tea or bottle or something I top dress. They have been doing really good since I pop those beans. But this week they seem like they are slowing down a little and could use something I'm just not sure what. I'm trying to do everything I can to get more then a quarter ounce per plant this run. I was also looking for an over all how I'm doing. Are they far enough along for date were at in my region? I have been topping and FIMing as much as I can.

How long have they been in those 5s? Are u adjusting the ph? Are ur plants getting a lot of rain that could be slightly overwatering, which could slow growth..? I'm not an expert btw

They look nice and green and happy to me. I don't feed much at all the first few months, just worm castings and sporadic FF grow big. The plants will tell you when they need to be fed, in my experience.

The problem i had with buckets in MA is on a sunny 90° day the buckets heat up to 140° and the roots cook. You can shade the buckets or wrap them in carpet but 5 or 6 months is a long time in buckets. I’d recommend clth containers in the future. Otherwise, they look fine so far.

Great recommendations as you can see best to put them on the ground as well the roots will work their way into the ground and help keep things cool as well rather than being on a hot deck. Don’t disturb them if you do this let them be and shade your pots it makes a huge temperature difference. Mad bud knows his shit!!!!!❤️

Next year I'm totally doing cloth pots. They seemed a little stressed today. But it rained a little in the afternoon. Hopefully that cooled them down a little.

Figured I would post to this old thread since it shows them right after I transplanted them. They came out better than I thought they would. I fed them nothing but water and some tea I made out of yard scraps and Coast of Maine Lobster Compost. Which is why they have a huge N deficiency. I learned a lot of what not to do. lol. Next year no buckets just fabric pots. I'll be growing something more geared for northeast like a Afghani Kush you know something that doesn't take 10+ weeks on the flower end of things. Besides the huge N problem I think they came out really good considering my Noob style of growing this year. The smell on her is like Fruit Loops and gas with some strong Pine. I hope I dry and cure this right as I want to preserve these terps. So here's the current pictures.
Here is all 3 before the chop. I took down the first one saturday. The other 2 have about 3 more weeks left i think.

I do love this cola pic.

I trimmed off all the fan leaves but still need to trim all that horrible yellow away. Since they have some sugar on them Ill dry trim and collect for medibles. This is getting processed into RSO once the other 2 are done anyway. But i'll keep a couple choice nugs for my self.

I do hope I'm drying her right. It's been 2 days and they are just starting to crisp up a little. Ill wait until the ends of the branch's snap when i bend them but not snap off.
