What's the Deal With my Girls??

2nd grow here. I transplanted these 4 into 1 gallon containers about 2 weeks ago. They are droopy all the time. I've been letting them dry out until they start to show they are thirsty. They perk back up a little about a day after watering bit, not much. I have them in fox farm and am giving ROI water. They are a month old from seed right now.

I believe this is the classic appearance of overwatering. Leaves droopy but stems are rigid, producing an umbrella shape. Dry plants sag like an empty balloon, limbs and leaves. The posts above are excellent reading.

Classic overwatering. Put some sort of blocks or something under the pots. No airflow under them is growing algae on the outsides. That will create root rot.
You still have run off sitting in the pans. You need to get them up out of it.

I'm watering about a quarter per plant every 3-4 days. Like I said they start to wilt a little before I'm watering them. This picture was taken right after watering. It had been 4 days and they were almost perky again. Then I got home today and they looked like this so I watered them

Leaving them for a long time is kinda scary, but it's REALLY OK. When they are actually starting to dry out you'll know it. The plant will sag like a deflated balloon. It's very dramatic, and mostly harmless. They bounce back in less than an hour. I'm not saying you should do this all the time, but it might be worthwhile to let your plants dry up until you see them sag. This would put you in a solid starting place to reset your watering patterns.

Not sure how much more dramatic they can get. So why after 4 days of no water would they start to sag like hell today as a result of overwatering?

I'm not certain on this, but I believe the thought is that the roots are drowning. It takes days to set in because the don't drown right away. Roots need oxygen. They need to dry out.

I'm not kidding about dramatic. This video isn't great, but it does a fair job of showing a plant that is dried out and looks beyond hope, but is actually just fine once watered.

They haven't been watered in 3 days pots are kight as a feather and they are getting worse.

Well water them. If they are very light weight and need water, don't wait and ask, water them on your own.

Is that what they look like now? If it is, then you may need to transplant. What soil are you using?

Foxfarm ocean forest. They have looked like this pretty much since I moved them into these 1 gallon pots about 3 weeks ago. As I said previously whe everyone said it was overwatering I always wait until the pots are very light.

Almost every plant on this forum has the same exact problem,and the exact same misdiagnosis, and I'm starting to wonder if it's not the same shill from a nutrient company doling out all the disinfo under dozens of accounts on every weed forum there is.



I taught myself to grow. I consider it a blessing and a virtue. I couldn't deal with stress of uncertainty,so I learned how plants work. Life is easy now. I don't know how the forum bros do it. Coming to the weed forums, it's the blind leading the blind in most cases. I told myself I'd stay out of the infirmary..

I should probably make a career out of Cannabis consulting, but I'd rather do it for free. The unworthy won't listen get defensive and can continue to spread lies and bad weed. Everyone else... Your crops are severely calcium deficient and you are growing bad mids because of it. Learn how to grow for real, not internet grow. I'm tired of smoking alone.

Haha, thanks man. I put some cal mag in the water I just gave them cause I was wondering if that was the problem. Hopefully they will perk up.

Stop watering them. Your killing your plants with kindness. Get a moisture meter K, it will help you.
Plants are not stretching. Nodes seem very close together. I'm thinking a little to close to the light as well. Do not feed them Nitrogen!
Dry them out camel fart dry. Try 1/2 strength 5-15-5 for 2 feedings 7 days apart.
Top them at the 6th node. See mainlining and Fiming on youtube.
Check your PH is 6.0. If not correct it.
Then 28-10-10 1/4 strength once a week for 30 days. These are young plants and won't need a lot of Nitrogen yet. You want to let the root system grow first.
Soil PH is everything. You don't want to end up with a lock out problem.
