Any advice on harvesting plants

I'm pretty sure I have bout another month or so on my plants buds are getting real big ...I used unsulphered molasses last 2 waters and it does make a difference buds are a little bigger than they were b4 using just regular water .my questions is how do I know when they are ready to harvest and how long do let them hang b4 I put them in jars etc..thanks in advance

Yea I started last night just wanted to ask forum for input because if it wasn't for the forum I wouldn't have made it this far in my growing I've watched videos but the advice I got from here I aint HaD any problems yet very knowledgeable people in here
