We got a pretty good soaking last week. I shook them all off next morning and all looked good. Now few days later noticing a lil bud rot on the most mature plants. Cut it all off and I'll be monitoring closely.. id say between 3 plants one had more rot than the other two but all had to some degree. These are some watermelon zkittles from Barneys.
Got rot blah blah blah

These plants are close to harvest. Will be 8 weeks on the 15th, next Wednesday. Here some closeups of the trichomes.

Not seeing enough amber yet. I would usually wait longer but forecasted for rain all next week mon thru fri... mfer. Not feeling good about risking it in more rain. Im thinking im going to make some room in garage and just give them 3 days of dark starting Monday and hope they're good enough at that point. Will be a bitch to move them but I think I have to. What would you do?

Lookin' goooood, nice job! 👍😎🤙

Looks about ready to me, mostly milky, not too much amber (MAYbe 5-10% more amber? 🤔), I'm not into couch-lock, but it all depends what you're looking for too...👍
Also, I'd check the weather radar in your area to give you a better idea of what's ahead in your local weather...Hopefully. 😁

Keep Up The Good Work and Best of Luck! 🤙😎🚬

Good luck.

Last time I had a bad case, I would have been better off harvesting a week earlier than I did.

Sorry for noob question but I'm still new to outdoors and was wondering if you get rot is the whole plant done or could you cut the nug that's rotted off and hope for the best with the rest of the plant. I ask because 2 days ago we had a crazy storm and it knocked over my plant i'm about to harvest today. But a lower larf nug branch landed in my compost tea reservoir and got rot so i cut it off. Is the whole pant affected? will she rot while I dry her out?

Depending on how fast you catch it and cut it off makes a difference. I caught these a little later than I woukd like. It does spread if not immediately removed and still 50 50 that spores are going to spread to other buds. Keep a close eye on everything once you remove rot because its still there on a microscopic level.

I do have a covered porch. Prolly try n move them there rather than the hot dark garage at least will keep them out of rain. Humidity might still get them but I'm feeling like its too early to harvest. Every time I've taken early I've regretted. But Its a risky game because could lose whole branches or plants quickly if it spikes bad.

Thanks man, much appreciated. Pics don't really give justice, they are pretty fat spears with sweet sour grapefruit smell. Was pretty happy with genetics before this mold popped up.

Everything logically says dont risk it n harvest but logical people don't grow trees in backyard i guess. Think Im gonna push my luck and put on covered porch and watch them closely.

With you being so close and all your leaves so green, you can thin out the canopy quite a bit and see if you can get some better airflow, without fear of starving em.

Yes, will definitely do that. Thanks. The inside is pretty devoid of leaves.

Its just canopy leaves that can be cut back now. That would help me in a couple different ways. Was wanting to experiment with removing all big fan leaves prior to harvest in an effort to slow dry time.
Last 2 feedings have been at 1/4 strength. Was getting ready to flush them with 4 heavy waterings plain water but need to move them where I want them to stay before I do that.

Ended up moving them inside. Getting them wet or even damp just wasn't an option to me.

Now weather is nice at about 90 degrees w no rain in forecast for a week and no rot visible. Should I move them back outside or let them finish up inside under low light and sub 70 degrees temps? Will they finish up fine without sufficient light? Running 2 small grow bulbs in the blurple range and one warm led totaling about 80w... nothing really in comparison. Approx 5-7 days until done.

Everytime I make the decision to push longer when facing late flower issues... the issues get worse and I regret it lol. I'd rather have slightly premature buds than moldy ones... looks great though!

Very rare for me to see bud rot. The weather here usually just isn't conducive. Fortunately had the ability to move them. They seem happy enough. Glad I didn't chop early. They getting more stanky everyday w no signs of rot.
Im not setup for indoor and haven't ran lights in 10 years. Wish I'd had held on to at least one... even a little 400 would be awesome at this point. Was a time when I ran 2 x1000hps n 4x400mh all together but gave all that away long ago. Thinking it SHOULD be fine to keep them under low light. What I'm worried about is the flush. I run fairly heavy nutrients and like to get at min a few water only feedings at the end. Never flushed big plants under 80w so hoping it still pulls out.

I usually deal with it every year being up north... hoping we have a warm sunny fall for once instead of the rainy cold mold inducing fall we usually get. Someday I will build a greenhouse or have an indoor setup.
