This plant is about 2 weeks into veg and obviously something up. About 2 weeks ago, when it was in the early stages I had to lower the ppm from 350 nutrient wise to 200-250 ppm because it was showing nutrient burn. Then just last week upped the nutes to what it is now. I’m hoping I don’t have root rot as I know nutrients stain roots so hopefully that’s not the issue. I’m also using the 3 part floragro series plus cal-mag. My tap water ppm is 220-230 and my nutes is around 350 so in total my ppm is around 580. My Ph is sitting at about 6.0-6.2 as well. Hopefully y’all can help me out and fix this issue.

I would go buy some ro water at Walmart. That 5 gallon bottle full is like 5 bucks. I think your issue comes when you make your batch of nutrients. My ppm starts at 12. Yours starts at 250. Meaning your only giving them 100ppm of actual nutrients.

My ro under sink kit was 50 bucks, I would suggest using distilled or ro.

The plant is telling me it's having problems taking up nutrients. On one hand it looks nitrogen heavy and on the other it has a deff. This screams root rot, but I don't think you have root rot. If they are slimey you do, if not your fine.

You can also ask for the data sheet on your water from your water company. Post it here and I'm sure someone can tell you the correct ratios of trio to add.

Your sight glass also transports light into your res which will increase your fungus growth, which doesn't seem like your main problem.

HI, I think your problem may be with your water level ,remember using a 5 gallon hydro bucket , Once roots are established, the level should have an air gap
if not the plant will suffer, also you will have 21/2 to 3 gallons of water , mix nutrients at 1/2 strength for 4 days . you will see the difference I would chop off lower branches to stimulate the plant to grow more lateral branches higher up, It does not look like you have topped the plant yet either now your ppm is120 once tap water reading is subtracted should bee 300 good luck to you
message me or the forum with you results

message me or the forum with you results.Once your plant recovers your ppm should be 500-600, then in vegetation stage it should be 800 to start keep p/h at 6.0

The roots don’t feel slimy but I know I definitely need to invest in a ro filter. I’ve seen some that go for $200-$300, how good is your $50 one?

Thanks man I just cut the nutes in half so hopefully that’ll work. My water level is lower then it was before, I do believe it was a little high. Now my nutes ppm is 175-200 so I’ll definitely keep you updated :)
