Sunset Sherbet with my new friend.
Has been sitting on that little plant last 2 weeks, its his/her home now and thats fine with me.

So, the creature has no fear for me and this morning i tried touching and softly stroking it, and to my surprise it just stretched out and relaxed.

Does it impact your plant? I guess its not being eaten by your new tenant but it might poop on your trichs?

I dont see any damage at all, only seems to eat a few of the stigmas, the white hairs, which is fine with me.

Yes tiny poop that just falls off in the wind, not an issue compared to the pleasure of interacting with my new bug friend.

Of course :) no such bugs here, closest one must be grasshopper. And they live in the wetlands

Probably its because i grew up in a forest, spent most time outside and loved nature already as a little boy.

Oh i also love those hoverflies, beautiful and they dont sting.

I am surprised how often people think its a wasp and want to kill it.

Same as many not being able to tell the difference between wasp and bee, its not so hard.

Lovely, seems to be quite a big one.
And great if they catch a moth, the caterpillars from the moths can be a disaster to the buds.
