I've been growing along and everything has been pretty smooth for the most past. Until NOW.. I'm now ready to go to flower and all my hard work is blowing up! Most of my new growth is turning yellow between the veins of the leafs and then getting brown spots and some leaves have brown edges. It started with a few leaves here and there, now its's taking over the entire top of my plant.
So, the breakdown...
MEDIUM: 10 gallon cloth pot using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil.
LIGHTING: a Unit Farm TS1000 LED Full spectrum. 18/6. Leaf Temp is between 74-78. PAR/PPFD 480 around outside edge. Leading up to 784 in the center of the plant.
VENTILATION: 6" 392cfm inline with carson filter. There's also a oscillating tower fan inside the tent.
WATER: I use tap water that's been de-chlorinated (no additives) with a PH of 6.0 to 6.1 @ 330ppm. If I add nutrients that number hits 782.
I use Humboldt Base A (4-0-1), Humboldt Base B (1-4-2), Humboldt Plant Enzymes and Humboldt Golden Tree (0-0-2). Instructions say to use all 4 safely together. I haven't used these in a couple of weeks because I started noticing a leaf here or there so didn't want to overdue anything.
I use "aluminum sulfate" to adjust my ph down. I have given the plant epsom salts a couple of times but they were well spread out. I use "Recharge" every 4th or 5th watering. Last thing I can think of is Cal-mag (2-0-0) and I've used it 2x in the last 2 weeks thinking perhaps that a magnesium deficiency was my problem. At this point I'm wondering if I don't have more than one thing going on..
My watering method has been to lift and feel the weight of the pot (with cloth it's not rocket science). I can always feel dry dirt all the way around. In a 3 gallon completely dry pot I give 5-6C and in my 10 gallon I give 18-22C. I usually water every 3rd/4th day. I think I lean towards to little water but I could certainly be wrong, especially since my plant is rebelling against something I'm doing! I've included some pics, if more are needed please let me know.
Sooo.... I'm open to any and all suggestions that may save my plant!!

Well something is off. Looks like root zone damage. You have to defoliate to give the plant a chance to recover. The aluminum sulfate might be building up. The salts combining for a lockout.

So. Do not flower. Defoliate and recover your plant first. I don't save my damaged plants. But hopefully someone in your situation has some advice on how to feed and water that thing back to health. So it can be flipped. For now I would water the next one with plain water. Maybe buy some PH down. But I would think plain water alone would be the way to get them to recover.

You used aluminium sulfat before ?
I would`t add aluminium sulfat to my plants as a PH down.
If you have a little too much, you will get root poisoning ( lockout).
Would first change the aluminium sulfat, and only plain water with drainage, like „Ponky“ said before.
Good luck.

I've had that problem using FFOF in a few of my more recent runs. How did I correct it? I'll get to that in a moment ...

Here's what I think has happened. A somewhat recent formula change or quality control issue has effected how FFOF performs. It seems that they are no longer using dolomite lime and have switched to only oyster shell lime for buffering. Oyster shells don't break down very easily and takes a very long time before it begins to adequately buffer the soil. (It has to go through a chemical conversion to be use-able by your plants) By then, magnesium deficiencies have already ravaged your grow. Dolomite lime is in a readily use-able state and the magnesium should be much more easily absorbed.

Here's what I did ... I added a 1/2 tablespoon of dolomite lime and a 1/2 tablespoon of gypsum (calcium) per gallon of soil mix. I pulverized each into a fine powder prior to mixing it into the soil. I'm also using a 1/2 tablespoon per gallon of "Recharge" and I use it every watering.

Soil pH should be between 6.2 and 6.7 with 6.5 being the sweetspot. I use a Blue Lab Soil pH Probe to check my pH PRIOR to putting any plants in it.

I use 3 stage carbon filtered water or condensate water from my dehumidifier for watering. I pH my water after adding nutes to between 5.8 - 6.3 using GH pH down. It does not contain aluminum sulfate. I water to run-off every watering. The run-off is collected in my plant saucers and I can pH the run-off if I am having issues.

While watering may not be rocket science, it is the source of grief for many growers. People tend to water on a schedule and not necessarily when the plants need it. Poor watering practices can make cal-mag issues worse. Be sure to water thoroughly each watering and allow for the pots to dry out before watering again. I use 5 gallon fabric pots and use a moisture meter to determine when to water again. Larger plants need water more often and by using the meter, I avoid watering by a schedule and only water when the plants actually need it. Watering thoroughly every 3-4 days may be exactly what larger plants need ... but smaller plants might need more time between watering (5-7 days). Over-watering will acidify your soil, rot your roots, and make dialing in your grow very difficult (if not impossible).

I agree, it's a lot to go through to make FFOF use-able. The "grow pro" at my local Grow Generation store has stated that I am far from the only one who has noticed a difference in FFOF performance and has suggested starting with FF Happy Frog (still has dolomite lime in it) and up-potting to FF Strawberry Fields for flowering or try a different soil mix all together. I elected to move to Roots Organic "LUSH" for my next run.

I'll give it a try. I've got nothing left to lose! Sucks because my grow was going soooo well!

The important thing is genetics. The next crop can be on a better feed program. Don't sweat it. Once you master that strain you're set. I used to mix up complicated and expensive feeds. Now. Cheap 1 part. The good genetics is the key. Not figuring out a magic formula. Less is more.
