Hey crew. Whilst nobody has pulled me up for running a grow diary not in the right area (thank you!) I will start from my next run doing a thread in the diary section. I am testing a new light. I've posted the link below. I will continue to do random updates in here, but it's likely I move the new light straight into my current grow for the last few weeks, and report on that thread, but will let peeps know if this one is ending. Cheers all for your help and support!!

Can anyone explain the difference in these? I've seen other people refer to the leaves tacoing towards the end as good? The other one is my girl that's two weeks behind, so she'll respond differently I imagine, but pretty significant curling on sugar leaves. This one just kept stretching and was definitely too close to the light, though lower sites show similar but sightly less extreme curl. Pretty dark in the new growth too. I've pulled back by 1/3 on nutes, down to about 1.4 EC now, and have given a flush with Calmag and 1/3 strength A&B. Have moved lights up and adjusted so these top sites are getting 30% less light. It's time to start pulling back anyway, reckon I'm about 3 weeks off harvest on the big ones, and the one that's behind is through heavy flower set and can afford to drop back a little. Be interested to see if top sites start frosting a bit more with a little less light.

Day 51 of 12/12. Turned light intensity right down and dropped nutes right back after it was pointed out that there was foxtailing going on. Not having seen buds develop I don't know what is normal and not, but now I know what foxtailing looks like! I'm hopeful that with N and P dropped right back these will fatten up big time over the next few weeks. Head shots are getting the big girl that's always been the quickest to develop. I'm aiming for Saturday in 2 weeks to cut this one, but am waiting on microscope to get good look at trichomes. That would be 65 days of flower. Love to hear people's thoughts, but understand will need to get a look at trichomes at some point.

They look good and healthy. They may be ready in two weeks but I suspect you may have a little longer than that. Most of your pistols aren't showing maturity yet. Just means more time to fatten up hopefully. You will be rewarded at the end with some quality smoke.

The plants will tell you when they are ready

Yep I'll definitely check trichomes before doing anything, they've definitely shown much more of their sativa traits in flowering so may well be longer. Like you say just gives more time to fatten up and let that stress ease up a bit. Already showing more frost on top now the lights are down a bit 😍

Have a loupe but it's hard to take pics. I'll take a few in a sec and post. Definitely noticed some real clouding tonight even since three days ago.

+1 I'd be surprised if they are ready in 2 weeks.

Yep happy to accept that, I'm very much learning haha. That's fine though just more time for them to recover and hopefully fill out that foxtailing. They are fattening soooo much every day, another 3 weeks they will be baby arms. Patience all that's required now... Microscope arriving in 2 weeks we'll get a better idea then ☺️

Well that gives me hope. Don't think mine is quite as bad as that, and these are looking like being every bit of 11-12 weeks. Hope springs eternal...

Some macros with my shitty loupe. Microscope can't get here quickly enough...

Friends, this thread is now winding up. My new Spider Farmer SE3000 s has arrived today, and I have moved it until my tent and taken out the Mars lights. As the supply of the light was continent on me doing a grow diary, I will do a full grow after this one. But I'm going to use it for the rest of this grow so I will do updates in there to give full credit to the SF guys for the results over the next few weeks. I hope you'll come follow over there, I love connecting with you guys and your words of encouragement and good vibes mean a lot. Hope to see you there! ✌️
