Just bought some hydroponics pH down phosphoric acid based solution and should arrive tomorrow, this should fix the issue according to the manufacturer of Calmag, apparently the fish tank stuff is not suitable for this. I’ll let you all know how this turned out. Thank you!
Imo it will only partially solve your issue.

Which is? I’m actually just trying to have a stabilized pH of 6.5 when watering with Calmag instead of the 8.6 I get initially, you don’t thing the phosphoric acid will do that?

@luiz9733 what are you growing in? Soil? what's in it? Hydro? Medium?

you're starting to get hostile for no reason. i'm quoting @XhibitA's post, which will provide you the reason that @Aqua Man told you getting an acid will only partially solve your problem. Go read it before replying.

Did you read the article @Aqua Man posted?

I did read, and I'm just trying to keep the focus on the issue regardless of the media I'm growing... the issue is, my Calmag solution wont stabilize on 6.5 for watering. Sorry if I sounded hostile, just keeping focus on the issue.

So let's run some tests brother. What is the straight PH of your water, no additives?

obviously you didn't, or you did and didn't comprehend what you read. it's simple chemistry you're dealing with, and it's new members like you that argue with the information you're given that make people like me and other long time members quit answering threads like this. go figure it out for yourself. you've been given the answers you need. if you're too dense to accept what you're being told, that's on you. good luck.

Also, you calibrate around CalMag. CalMag is more Alkaline so you have to take that into value.

I keep on adding chloridric acid drops bringing pH down to 3.5... after an hour or so pH is back to almost 8.

I DMed the dude. I think we need a sticky about the difference between Dirt and Soil somewhere.

Ok you must have not understood my post because PH means NOTHING!!!!

PH is a result. It doesn't tell you shit about your water.

You need ALKALINITY to control your ph. So phosphoric acid is the solution to half your problem... plain and simple.

Now YOUR CAL MAG HAS NO ALKALINE SOURCES....IDK why ppl think they do but almost all do NOT. In fact it appears your is acidic.

Adding Calmag will increase ALKALINITY making the water "harder" and pH more stable, so as I add acid to bring pH down if should stay down at some point, but it wont. I would like to understand why it wont stay down. That's all...

That's where our communication breakdown is here.

That's is 100% false
