Typical time for the increased demand for K. Have pics?

Showing just today on 2 girls at front and girl back rhs.
They are a few days ahead development wise of girl back lhs who is not showing any signs yet.
I wouldn’t think they are nutrient depleted, fed 3 days ago, so suspect ph lockout.
Added a LOT of tap water to the system past week (high growth/high water demand) which has bumped ph=lockout=k deficiency when they need it right now. This is what i suspect.
Would a bit of ph down do the trick?
Changeout would only replace high ph water w high ph water or is there a gap in my logic somewhere?

Happy Friday Farm Folk. 🥂

Added some “pH down” yesterday, see photo above. The girls appear no worse for wear. Have not deteriorated in any sense.
Should i feed my regular CC bloom mix a couple days early to bump up that K?

Secondly, I am running 315 CMHx2 each side. The girls are within 25-30cm of the globes and have well and truly had enough by lights out.
Should i consider removing a globe each side to ease light pressure under CMH? I could then run 20/4 or 24/7. Alternatively, perhaps I could reduce from 18-6 to 16-8 at full blast for example, given they are absolutely getting baked. I am open to suggestions.

On a side note, it is very interesting to see how the girls have set themselves up w regard to their main cola. Without exception, each main cola is not in direct light under the globes, they are slightly offset from either end of the light setup. Not a geek but this is pretty fascinating and again interested in peeps thoughts.

Maybe hit en with a K boost also the last half of flower they start to really ramp up the need on it.

Ok, fed last night.

Removed 2 of the globes, one from each setup. The girls look less droopy/heat stressed this morning.
Sulphate of potash seems the readily available K boost so i will grab some from the local nursery today tomoz.

Do you use a ph and ec pen mate? If not def pay to grab 1👍
Hey man, nice to hear from ya. This grow is a baseline grow to get a feel without an electronic data feed, bells and whistles.
I am going to stick with it until harvest.
I have been at the lower end nute wise bc they autos but they blew up pretty quick. Had i gone normal feeding schedule, prolly wouldn’t have any issues.
My current rationale:
By removing 2 globes, things happen a bit slower, less stress everywhere but still plenty light to get them done.
Power consumption wise i can run the scrubber 24/7 with no net ^ in power.
This also aids in removing humidity from the tent, another plus.

The girls have just come thru their ‘thirstiest’ phase, stretch. Added lots of tap water which has bumped pH and perhaps EC a bit no doubt.
Going to add a little sulphate of potash dissolved, little lemon juice w each water and get these girls over the line.

I will be all about pH, EC, Black Friday, clean jocks on the next grow 😂
Just want to squeeze out a low tech grow here and see what I can come up with.
Hope ya doin well man.

Weekly Update, one day early. Of note, 2x CMHglobes removed 2 days ago to slow things down, reduce heat, so 630 watts in there. (Enough?)
Stretch is done, just stackin an rackin.
46 days in the system, 56 days from germination.

Notice how the girls right of light fixtures, have slightly offset their main cola away from being directly under the light source. Girls at rear have done the same thing.

Girl back rhs above. Looks like she is in the early stages of her death throes. Should i thin her out a bit underneath? Air circulation is ok but i need to make sure there is adequate light penetration givenI have removed 2 globes from the tent. Using 315 w CMH globes.

Girl front rhs doin what she does. Lookin great, just a bit sleepy after lights out.

In terms of pH adjustment, it is pretty scientific. I have added the juice of 1 large lemon to each 2 gallon bucket of water that goes into the system. It SEEMS to be ok atm

Evening folks, happy Satdy from Downunder. Had a couple frothies so excuse my ramblings…..

Girl above is emerging star back rhs. She, along w girl front lhs have been the 2 most stressed plants of the 4. (One, bit of O2 deprivation w kinked air hose, one a bit squished at early stage lst.) However, these 2 are the most advanced of the 4 flower wise and look like being the first finishers/highest yielders which i find interesting. Much filling in flower wise this past 7 days.

After much grow diary reading, I am upping my yield hopes slightly. Really good yields for WW Autos in tent in dirt seem to range in that 2-4oz/plant range. When I look at those plants pics, they are much smaller than what i see in my setup. My girls are pretty serious bushes w 4 of them pretty much filling out a 2mtrx2mtr tent and at the upper end height wise just over a metre but 3 looking at 1.2 metres.

I have seen a majestic WW Auto pic grown indoors in dirt that weighed in at half a pound dry. I would be really delighted w 20oz of nice bud from these 4 girls, ie 5oz per plant. They just don’t look like girls w that weight end game in mind (not withstanding my unconfirmed effing first rental inspection scheduled 27/12.) I reckon somewhere in that 24-28oz range all up, dry, will be pretty close. Anything above that is beyond holy $hit.

Essentially this is just for my own historical records, and see how we go. If I can push my first rental inspection out, I will let the girls run another month to early Jan to max genetic capability. This will get me around that 13-14 weeks from germination which is pretty much long term endgame for Autos.

In contrast to popular theory (Autos grow quick and don’t fuss about the feeding regime), I have found that the more I feed, the better they respond. Whilst I am not at the upper end of say feeding photos, I am pushing the bar pretty hard these past few weeks. However, I sense they are ready for more and will oblige tomoz.

It has been a pretty fascinating grow and we near the end. My birthday present (GSC Autos) arrived from within Australia this week so I will probably pop them shortly to get them veg advanced in time for harvest of these wonderful WW ladies.

Cheers friends. KK

Weekly update, 53 days in the system, 63 days from germ.
Full feed this morning after pk boost midweek. Removing 2 globes has halved my power consumption from 20-24 kWh/day to 10-15, even tho i am now running the scrubber 24/7. Great result. Enjoy

I have to keep reminding myself they are Autos. Thank God I didn’t make another rookie error by running photos. Completely out of vertical space on 2 rhs, 2 lhs getting there.

Bit of a Holy $hit moment this morning. I was woken in the middle of the night by a noise that sounded like a gunshot or explosion.
Turns out it was plastic scraping on plastic as girl back rhs got a little lopsided. She was leaning right into the middle of the tent. All the budweight is on that side of the plant.

Thankfully no plant damage. Looks like I need to do a bit of house keeping at lights out tonight.

Girl front rhs was also showing similar ’lifting’ signs of the net basket so weighed that down too.
The girls lhs have a more even canopy spread and show no signs of this.

Loving the symmetry of girlfront lhs, below. She pretty.

Damn i would have shit myself hearing that, lucky she's ok...phew! :P

Are you going to scrog for your next grow?

Yeah the LHS girl will be really nice, will be some fat budz for sure.😉

Your totes look really nice, do the lids on yours seal 100%?

The totes i have are stupidly tight, will make cleaning them out a pita.

Do you run live or sterile?

I thought if nutes were changed weekly, would it be possible to run a complete bloom cycle without having to remove the lids?

I recently wondered this for I'm very close to building my UC system, if the water is always clean and at the right temp i could simply control everything from the control bucket and top off bucket/tank couldn't i?
