Changes made. Double bleach wash of tub and stones and collars. Extra peroxide. Same 6.0 PH.
3 days in. No issues. All lowers or secondary off shoots.
Should be ok this time.

Are you cleaning throughly with soap, water and hydrogen peroxide, then rinsing and drying it all, then using bleach to completely sterilize everything?
I had the same problem with my old cloner until I started doing that to make sure everything was completely clean.
I hadn’t realized how much more effective bleach is after a through clean & scrub before my bleach cleanings.

No. I fill it with hot water. That breaks down and organics. And then dump it. Then hot water bleach. Wait a while. Spray with hot water until it's clean. Then fill again with hot water and bleach. Then let everything dry. Fill with water. Run empty for 3 days with just peroxide. The PH it. Then cut and place. Normally I just bleached once. Rinsed and reset.

Nice! I like your method 👍
Have you ever tried running the Peroxide for a few days first?
Or running it for one day with it, emptying and refilling with a fresh batch of hot water and peroxide for another day?
Then the bleach wash and rinse last.

Just an idea for next time, I feel like that could help completely eradicate any organics and maximize the bleach’s efficiency

Yeah 3 days with just the water and peroxide and air running. To make sure the water didn't foul.

I'm sorry for your loss bud 😢. I don't know shit about hydro and have no passion to ever learn because marijuana in it's native habitat grows in soil. Why fox with what Mother Nature already perfected? That's my opinion but it always sucks to hear of crop losses either way.

I just lost the clones. I plant them in promix. So far if they make it that far they're OK. But I have most plant in DWC. Never in promix.

Well. I think heavy rains in my area have disrupted the water quality. So I'm going to run this guy here with some bottled water and Rapid Rooter plugs. After 2 failed batches in the bubbler. If these don't work the plant must be sick. Can't possibly be me..... :(
Normally a bubbler gets me clones in 14 days. I'm looking at about 9 for these once my mother has finished drinking her food. The smoke itself is nice. Potent. Sugary. And grew with no pests, no weird leaves. And most importantly no seeds. I only mothered 2 of the 4 seeds and both were female. So not sure if they're femenized. 34 st. Seed company. Pink Lemonade.

The first round of clones were 12 days and done in the bubbler. No issues. 85% survival rate. Second batch total loss. Current bubble batch looking like a total loss coming up aswell.

Damn sorry man! I wish I had better advice.
@BluePowerRanger Do you have any ideas?
I know you had some cloning issues for a little while too that you cleared up, although I guess that was more an aeroponic cloner setup.

It just has some air stones hanging into the water spaced out. Worked great for a couple years. Now two dud batches. The rapid rooter clones are doing fine. Have had very heavy rains. So I think the water is fouling. I'm using bottled water to clone for now. Try again in spring or summer. So far stumped.

Ok the second batch is doing the same thing. Here is a picture if the clone stem. It's been in there since the 17th. It's not got a clear sludge coat. Water doesn't smell. Clones are not looking good.

Stones aren't foul. Not sure what it is yet. Clones in rapid rooters look fine.

Current suspect is brown algae... the clear kind... I don't do enough science.. but I think the cure is pool shock, beneficial bacteria, or peroxide. Or even frequent water changing.. not sure. I suspect the frequent warm sunny days and intermittent torrential rains are to blame still. For changing my source water. No issues with current bottled water clones. (Rapid Rooter)

No. The toxins cannot be destroyed by boiling water. Boiling the water bursts the blue-green algae cells and releases toxins into the water, increasing the possibility of experiencing symptoms.

I think I might get another few going to let them get sick. And do another group thats I give this stuff to. See if I'm right. If I can get some.

im with @harmonics with the cleaning method. You can definitely wash it with hot water and do your process, but a clean with alcohol proxied will kill any disinfection. You can just add that after your water is boiled. Instant clean 😄

I thought I was clean enough. I went peroxide and then got water rinse. Bleach and rinse twice. And set up the water with peroxide. That's why I was so surprised. Thought I was steril enough. But nope. :(

well boiling water is also a method of disinfection and by adding the peroxide it will do a 100% clean and doesn't leave doubts behind.

I thought so too. But it can't kill cyanobacter. Need a strong bleach solution. And have to treat the water itself daily. Or use bottled. Be a few weeks before I can try again.
