Going on vacation for a week mid March. Wanted some opinions on when to flip to flower. So I can possibly chop right before I leave. She’s a Bruce banner photo from sweet seeds. About 8 weeks old. Was thinking about starting flower January 1 2022. You think around 2.5 months is long enough?

Also, should I continue to let her add tops or should I be trimming off any more that pop?

That could work.

How long will you be away? If it's not a long time, you can leave a plant in late flower for a while, as long as you have a watering system of some sort.

You should feed now. That container should be filled with medium. Flip around New Year. You should be good before mid-March.

Ok, it’s a 3 gallon pot. Should I repot to a 5 now?
If you are going to transplant do it now. Fill your container to the top and as it compacts keep it topped off. You want all the roots you can have.

I'm a major fan of Blumats for vacation watering.

And in spite of the language shown with the link, this website is in English.
