Easy way to water better, the soil is hard everywhere theres the root system and it really starts to show, (ill show a video) so just poke your finger starting at the stem and work your way outwards until your finger sinks in, water from the some spot inwards so youre not wasting water,

Roots won’t grow in to dry soil. So by not watering entire pot the roots will be confined in that little area you are watering and thinking you are saving water. No thank you.

This may be true, but not "wasting water" by only partially watering a pot is a bad idea.

Roots grow toward water. If there are no roots in a part of the soil in a container, it is because that soil is and always has been dry. Either that, or your container is way too big for your plant.

Always water thoroughly, so the entire container of soil is moist when you're done. Any cannabis plant should be able to completely root out a 5 or 7 gallon container.
