So I have three 2 week old seedlings and I just gave them their second week feeding which contains Floralicious and Diamond Nectar for the first time and got the nasty looking root thing that I was trying to avoid. They're in 3.5 gal bubble buckets till they are established. 4" net pot. Hydroton was prep daily, for 4 days by rinsing, soaking in PH adjusted water with 2ml cal/mag EC.20+ and 2x the hydroguard. Rapid rooters were also rinse and treated. So now I've been giving them Aquamans daily rinse of Hydroguard x2 thinking that it was rot. But after thinking about it, every time that I use the floralicious in my RDWC system, my in-line filters catch it all the next days. Plus it does have kelp and other chunky stuff that has always concerned me. So it washes off easily but after looking closer it looks like debris that's getting catch in the film of the roots. Their growing great and don't seem to be affected negatively. Does anyone have any thought's or experience with this?
The last pic is just the flush, 2x hydroguard for 10 minutes of bubbling fun, four day treatment.
