Totally. My last batch had almost no nodes in any of the rooters and 50/50 rooted quickly.
As long as you make the cut within roughly 1/4" of a node you are exposing undifferentiated cells.
Yea, that's what I'm getting at; those undifferentiated cells. They've got to be concentrated better in certain area's of the plant. Cutting slightly above like you say could spur their development faster.
I've been cutting lower which is obviously a worse area.

All the diagrams on intercalary meristem show it right were your saying. on the top side of the Y intersect.

I'm surprised more people don't follow these basic principles. I know a lot of people where I live that just walk straight into their grow from outside and it blows my mind.

I keep a pair of slippers in the grow shed and leave my boots outside when I go in my lobby. Always with clean clothes after a shower. If I need to go in the actual plant room, I strip down to my skivvies and socks. For real.

In addition I vape sulphur once a week in Veg and filter all the growroom air. Yellow sticky cards hanging by the light on the ceiling in the lobby.

IPM is serious shit. Take it seriously.
After you deal with the bastards for a few months you learn to shower first ! Or at least I have - mites fuckin suk period one of these days I’m gonna do the sulfur burn ipm gotta get the wool rolling first getting closer .

I vape Organic Sulphur... Don't know if it's as effective or not; but it sure makes my stomach feel better.

I'll have to say; this Purple Punch really opens my eyes to what's possible genetics wise. It's the total package. Looks/smells amazing even loaded down in seed. It's certainly smelling on the sweeter side; which will be a change of scenery I've not seen for awhile. The smell pops out at you bigtime.

Those above are actually some from the GDP gorilla branch I believe. Meant to post up some of the Purple Punch. Here we go. Lower branch I had to remove; want to ensure everything is developing as it should.

Those look like alien Brussel sprouts
Man the rude boi OG; just got a real good sniff of it today.

I was telling Bud awhile back that I believe animal shits have evolved much of the ancient genetics in the plant world, (I believe) most of them anyhow.. At least on some levels. (remember you heard it from me first) 🤣 LOL; Anyhow this Rude Boi is the one of those I've been looking for; it's the Rabbit Shits strain; I'm almost sure of it...

My theory is that many strains (and diversification; of cultivated plants in general) have largely evolved around this issue, because of ancient man. No doubt environment; and conditions play a large role also; along with the various cross of strains over time; ect. However; I think poo's play a far bigger role in genetics than there currently given credit.

Predator or reptile poo; maybe not so good. Some animals have far cleaner (healthier) poo than others. Same with any type of decompose for that matter; trees for example. Ligand instruction sets for Citrus or Pine notes spliced/trained into the genetic sequence. Common genetic fragments express themselves throughout all life; on several different levels. ie from short rna/dna transcriptions to tiny bits of proteins; intrasellar to extracellular activity and farther up the line at a systems level. Protiens; carbohydrates, lipids; enzymes; ect... Garbage in garbage out. Life itself is one massive repository encoded living software and hardware.

The more we challenge plants to learn; the more becomes possible. Although there are many limitations; only certain things are possible. Certainly not all changes are advantageous. But certainly; if the plant has a response to the stimulus; I don't think some learning takes all that long.

But on the flip side of that; plants are always diminishing certain traits as well.

This is also why the French produce and meat is so good; the feed their pigs cheese. Waiting for the person who invents spray-on terpene smell....

🤣
I don't actually go that far... I just try to stay conscious of where I've been and what I've been doing... Working outside, need a shower... Making a sammich, not so much.
... do you not?

Have I been sexing plants wrong THIS WHOLE TIME???
Sexing or breeding?

I was going to ask you awhile back to send some horse poos; but I thought that was asking too much. 🤣 Can't imagine it would be great for your relationship with your local post office. 💩💩 💩 Here buddy... hold my shit.

From my perspective; It really does appear that horse shit is a pretty specialized commodity. It's not like cattle manure; it's more specialized. Plus horses seem to have a very specialized diet and stomach biome. These differences really do fascinate me; gives shit so many different properties... Not too many people actually own horses anymore. Little brown lemons; that's what they are.🍋🍋🍋
