Does my generator have to be in the middle of the room, or can I put in a corner? Also does it really have to be 20" from the ceiling? Picture of current situation in veg room.

Yes it should be away from the ceiling. The sulphur goes up before falling down and too close to the ceiling will cause a lot of vapor to just stuck to the ceiling.

Ideally the middle of the room is best, but if you do a long enough burn it doesn't really matter where it is too much. With plants I hang it about 2 or 3 feet above the canopy.

Beware though, sulphur burners can destroy some LED lights unless they are silicone coated or using 301H diodes.

It's a co2 burner. It burns natural gas (in my case) to raise the co2 in the room. . Its now in a corner. I feel the fans will push the co2 around enough.

You can place it anywhere that gets it out of the way and you are correct... air circulation is key. When I first installed by burner about 18" from the ceiling I noticed it cause the poly on the ceilings to shrink a little so I backed it down to 20". In your case I'd hand it where you want it, turn it on and see how the ceiling/walls feel. If its to warm for your liking lower the burner another 2" and check again.
