I am really to find ways to boost available Calcium I can not seem to escape Calcium deficiency luckily usually stays at the early stage however

I thought maybe if I added a cup of Calcium Sulphate to my Hydroton or other Expanded Clay before loading up my Power Grower Inner Buckets might create a slow release Calcium for the life of my 4 Moth to Finish plants!

I am seriously considering getting a Calcium specific Nutrient Tester!

Factors I have considered for Calcium Absorbtion:

Lack of Air Movement
PH too low or too high (hydroponics?)
Dissolved PPM too low.
Need to add Cal/Mag to my Jacks Fertilizer for all top offs of my Reservoir?
Temperature at night reservoir and air.
Beneficial Microbes Bennies eating my Calcium in my Systems?
Not changing my Reservoirs out often enough...
And so on and so forth...

How are you preparing the Jacks?

I pre mix my Jacks at 250 Grams Hydro per 1000ml water. I don't always use the Mag. But I have since figured out that it is closer to 3-2-.5 than 3-2-1 if you look at the Conversion on the Jacks website. Sometimes I wonder if I would do better with an increase of the '2' calcium nitrite?

You can also try to run a CalNit (the 2) that has a bit more calcium. I'm running PureCal with Jack's and it's working really well with RO and coco. It's 13-0-0 18% Ca., so I run it with Jacks at a 3 - 2.3 ratio to account for the lower N which in turn gives me more Ca. I also add a few ppms of epsom salt (.1 EC ish?). I'm not even sure the epsom salt is necessary since Jack's has a decent amount already. I add it just because. haha

What Jacks product are you using and what is your water source? RO or tap?

Also, what EC are you running Jack's at? I noticed that I'll get slight Ca and Mg deficiencies if i'm feeding too light. I saw this in both coco and ProMix.
