How long it usually takes to see clear signs of flowering after changing lights to 12/12?

I have seen a flowering tent where it tooks two weeks from photoperiod feminized plants to show any signs of flowering. It this bit slow? Grower was freaking out about light leaks etc until the flowering started properly. How long it usually takes?

It takes a good 3-4 weeks. Before then though you should see white pistils coming out of the leaf/branch crotches.
