HEY THERE! Iโ€™m a first timer and have dumb questions about Autos. This is supposedly Death Star Auto from PCB. The site claims 8 to 9 weeks to harvest. But, I came across a journal that talked about the same strain growing 12 weeks. Friends say 50 cloudy and 50 Amber is the right time, but they donโ€™t do auto. So Iโ€™m confused. This is 4 days away from 9 weeks. It doesnโ€™t look 50/50 itโ€™s taking less water. And, flushing began 10 days ago. Theoretically, that means 2 more days until a 48 hour blackout and chop? BUT! Itโ€™s brother isnโ€™t as happy. So, the debate is sequential harvest. IDK IF ITS TOO SOON? The goal is coach potato one hit wonder NOT light and easy. I will try to reply with a couple more pics below. Thanks Iโ€™m advance! :-)

No matter if itโ€™s an auto or regular the breeders info is a ruff estimate at best. Your much better off going by the trichomes to determine chop. Your on the right track with the 50/50 of amber and cloudy if your looking for couch lock.

I shared a couple pics below. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s Amber? But, it has a few yellow leaf tips. Would you feed again or keep flushing? Appreciate you!
You need a microscope to check the trichomes. Without knowing how far along the trichomes are it's hard to make a recommendation.

Thanks for the quick response. I posted a couple more photos below for better insight.

Do you have a photo similar to number 3 with Amber? Thanks again!
Check my profile pics for some close trichome shots. The third one has some Amber trichomes popping in it.

You won't be able to tell just by looking at the buds with your eyes. You need to be able zoom in on them Trichomes with a 60x plus microscope or magnifying glass to get a good view at them.

You definitely donโ€™t need a microscope to see trichomes. A magnifying glass will work or a jewelers loop is even better. You can pick both up at a hobby store usually. View attachment 1215795
This is true! A microscope is always my go to since it's what I personally enjoy using ๐Ÿ˜.
