I don't know about that. Gardeners of all types have been adding hydrogen peroxide to soil for a hundred years.

Hydrogen peroxide has the same atoms of water, but has an extra oxygen atom, making it H2O2 instead of H2O. When it breaks down in the soil, it infuses extra oxygen into the soil, which is good for roots. Hydrogen peroxide is also an environmentally friendly alternative to pesticides, but it has the added benefit of being anti-fungal and gives plants a healthy boost of oxygen too. People use it with everything from roses to watermelons, and organic gardeners have long used it as a pesticide. I don't understand why you shouldn't put peroxide in the medium with cannabis.

yes i know., i just didn’t want to give that advice if you are dependent on your soil ph buffers as peroxide will throw them off..

Little baby button buds everywhere, all growing, all female. I guess my one mistake of leaving a room light on didn’t hurt.

I had 9 fungus gnats caught yesterday. This morning it is up to 14. That’s still not bad. But I have to water today and they love wet soil, so we shall see. Thinking diatomaceous earth might be the remedy to use.

As for environment, it is fairly well controlled but not perfect. Temperatures of the last 24 hours range from 74.4 to 81.5°F. The average was 76.9°. The total swing was 7.2°, which is great.

However, relative humidity swung a little too much. It ranged from 44.1 to 66.6%, with an average of 56.9%. That’s a swing of 22.5%, though most of that swing occurred with a sudden drop in humidity when the lights came on this morning. Overall that’s not terrible, but I was hoping to keep it a little tighter.

Lights are now at 80%, with a PPFD of around 900 at the center, dropping off to 500 at the edges.

One of the varieties I am growing, Kush Mints, has such thick, woody stalks that I don’t think I’m going to need a net for them at all. It will take a hatchet to chop them down. Lol! 😁 On the other hand, the Gorilla Glue plants will definitely need a net. I will put it up as soon as the stretching begins to slow down.

The DE worked great for me a nice little top dress cuts the shit out em supposedly,

I use fans directly over the top of the pots no with osculation & I scrape the top inch of soil around the top edges of the pot and let that dry out as much as I can before adding more of my soil to fill in what I took away and keep the fans lightly blowing.....It seems to work very well.....

I'll bet you're right! After looking at this some more, I'm guessing that the purple "hairs" are actually leaves, and that they are purple before the green in the chlorophyll overwhelms it. Which begs the question, Will the purpose return just before harvest when the chlorophyll dies away? We shall see! 😎

Possibly, once the green (Chlorophyll) fades/breaks down.

now once you get to the last two weeks or so, then you could Dim the light during the “ripening” stage I think as they might not need as much compared to developing/forming the buds, then you can start to bring out more colors, as the plant starts producing Anthocyanins to "defend" its self from the colder temps (?)
