Hi all, just joined. I’ve recently started growing at home in a tent. I’m on my second grow and trying out living soil with Bruce banner auto. Last grow was hydro and I didn’t do too well, lots of trial and error and ended up stressing the plant too much, got some male flowers, you know the rest. This is my first attempt at SOG and I think it’s going pretty well. Single plant is now 5 weeks old since the seed sprouted and it’s been flowering for about a week. It’s under 2 LED lights with UV strips. Temp 77 with humidity around 35. Looking forward to all the feedback and knowledge from experienced growers.

Wow I really like your setup! I wish my space wasn’t limited, I would be growing more than one plant at a time.

Its all about maximizing the space you have. Your tent could have had 2 plants at least for the same light you are paying for with this 1 plant, and hence maximized your yield to the full potential of your lights....and costs, if you get what I am saying? Its all about plant count (the # you need) to cover the area you have, and to create your SGROG, to fill up that excess space where light is NOT hitting the floor. For the little bit of extra nutrients and/ or watering you would have to mix for 2 plants as opposed to 1 is minimal, yet your lights are under utilized for what you could yield in your space. Does this make sense? You could have at least doubled your yield for minimal costs with the space I see you have, and you could have let these girls go a few weeks longer in veg with some topping and fimming to fill in your space more... I hope this makes sense to you. Just trying to get you to understand the need to fill in your trellis more to get a better SCROG. 😉 👍 If not so clear , let me know, especially your next grow, and I will try another way to explain it better, but I think you get my drift 😉

Makes sense thanks. I’ll try for 2 next round.
Shoot try a SOG next time go for 6 plants in 1 gallon fabric pots . It speeds up veg time probably half the time it would take for 2 plants to fill the tent.
Also you might want to get a aircare humidifier for drying your nug also if u decide to grow in winter again your humidity needs to be around 60% in veg . If you see it in your future that is totally up to you , these are just recommends.

Ps everything is looking good! 😊

Appreciate all the advice. I’m definitely a beginner. I grew some stuff years ago under HPS and got like 1oz from a plant. My last grow yielded 4.8oz from a single blue dream auto. Hoping to hit another number like that with this plant.
I will be growing year round, still gathering all the temp/humidity control devices. Currently using AC infinity exhaust fan with controller and inkbird temp controller. Humidity has been hard to maintain that’s for sure.

You might be in a lower humidity state usually in my area in spring it goes up to about 50%

Oh yeah, autos 🤣👍
I’m in my first indoor run as well, went with autos too, I’m wayyy behind you though only at about 10 days from soil breakthrough but damn is it fun lol way better than when I grew out in the woods back in the day, yea you could defenitly do 2 in that tent for sure, mabye I should have started with 1 or 2 but I went with 6… like my wife always says of everything I do… go big or go home haha, nice looking plant for sure you have there, how tall is she? And I see you’re doing Bruce banner, I was going to try that strain but went with 3x candy kush, 2x Afghan kush, and 1 gorilla glue, kinda wanted to put out some feelers and see what each has to offer. Will be following along for sure though!
