Clone flipped to 12h cycle four days ago to determine sex. This is the 4th day. What is your impression?

Why would you waste your time on a unknown second it could all be a waste 50/ 50
To keep a clone of a possible winner pheno. I cloned all my plants before flipping if they dont show sex. Then toss the makes as they identify and pick the nicest from the bunch eliminating as i go so i can keep a mother of the phenos i want or possibly a stellar male.

But there are a lot of reasons to clone unidentified plants

That's how to do it.

Why would you not clone a plant of unknown sex before you flip it ?
That is how you know which ones to clone for keepers ..
Many strains are only available in regular M/F seeds ..
I have cloned after flipping but that is a little more of a pain IMO.

I have a few males turned hermie on me . I guess its a true hermaphrodite. It's just weird to see female flowers on a male plant.😀
I've never had that happen,I always wait till the plant goes into alternate phylo and most times will show sex or give good clues by then and maybe just dropping an hour light at that point will stimulate it into just showing its sex very slightly without going into bloom, then go back up an hour to the threshold,I believe forcing flowering on immature plants increases chances of hermies.

These are plants more or less 60 days from sprout before flipping and the flowers are set. So there's no mistaken whether its a male or female. Usually the female flowers start showing up a few weeks later at the apex of the male plant. Pistils and balls together I guess its genetics. My boys are gays....sometimes. But pollen are still potent😀
