How long do you Veg your photos ??

I start counting veg time at when I transfer to a 1g pot from a solo cup or 4” starter pot. That is usually around 3 weeks from sprout. I veg another 4 weeks once in the 1g pot. So about 7 weeks total from sprout to flip.

I count veg time from sprout and usually veg 16 -28 days. Most are done in 3 months from seed.

I crop 6 times a year. Could be 12. Veg tent. Helps a lot.

The clones I just flipped had about 3 months recovery/veg.
I've done shorter but like big bushes..

5 weeks from seed. .any longer than that for me in 60/40 coco/perlite it turns into a jungle in a 5ft x4ft room...but still learning to make the most of that space..

I usually go 2 months + that gives me full grown bushes ready to flip as soon as I harvest what was in flower. I like to have living cuts from them growing before I flip....2 months later the cuts are bushes and the cycle continues.....in a perfect world....It doesn't always work out that way but that's my grow plan. Until I grow reg seeds & end up with males screwing up my cycle.

There are things you can do to veg faster, most of which fall under the general category of "grow better." Overwatering, over and under lighting, and over and under feeding can all slow or stunt growth. Photosynthesis runs on magnesium, so keeping up with mag will help plants grow as fast as they can. All that said, if you need to veg faster, you can run more plants.

It's not really a grow issue, My plants always top off around 6 to 7 feet. I just physically dont flip the light until 2 1/2 to 3 months. I just notice smaller plants in pics on here and it made me question my timeline. Dont get me wrong I have my share of plant issues. Just thinking of changing up my grow game to see if it is better

Gotcha. I top a lot, trellis at 18" above the floor, and do the short/wide/even canopy thing, so it sounds like we're running pretty different styles.

I sprouted in November for my last grow. I didn't harvest until May.

My current grow got flipped 2.5 months in.

I veg until I'm happy with what the plant looks like. I also train the hell out of them and they never get more than 18" tall.

From seed to harvest is usually five months unless I am doing an extended veg grow for trees in the greenhouse. I veg for about four to six months then put them outside in June.

If you want max yield and don't care about plant count, small plants with short veg wins every time.

Besause you don't waste time growing huge stems and larf / B buds.

Smaller plants make the most of that space.for eg .i can grow 4 plants 8 week veg in a 5x4 and return 2 p.now i grow for 5 weeks with 6 plants and get the same result.so thats 3 weeks of power nutes i save ea grow + more harvests..

I guess that makes sense. So, a tent full of smalls is quicker. But does that tent of smalls yield more than a tent with one big?
