Hey guys!

In the start of week 5 with this grow and I'm running into a problem. I recently transplanted these guys and one of my plants has started to brown on its leaves. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what deficiency it was I had assumed potassium, but adding a 2 8 4 nutrient to my feed didn't help at all, in fact 2 days later it got worse forcing me to trim the affected fan leaves off.

At this point I cant seem to figure out the solution. I thought it could be pests so I sprayed some 10% dish soap 90% water on it and rinsed but there has been no change. Any suggestions would help!

I'll include what the other plant looks like to show you how well one is compared to the other.

Its a watering issue. Also dont play with your nutrient ratios. Stick to the directions and dilute it to the concentration you desire… what pot size, media and nutrients are you using?

Read this on watering. But you need to saturate that pot, dont spot water like that. Take that fan off the plant…

It only looks spot water because I misted it a 4th time to make sure I got all the soap off. I'm using 5 gallon pots

The medium is coco coir mixed eith fox farms ocean forest. I'm also using Liquid Seaweed and Molasses for extra nutrients.

For light im using a cruddy gixer led light and a Spider Farm sf1000

Stop the molasses…. Please please.

Hiw many days between watering and how much are you giving because the rest of that coco is bone dry. So if your water the whole pot then you have to have a shit ton of air blowing on it and the plant.

Its also purple af so you definitely have an uptake issue showing multiple deficiencies. Watering is definitely an issue as is availability and the light is to intense for the plant health

Also on the watering. With organics you dont want run off or you will wash your availabile nutrients from the soil. Being that they are broken down slowly over time you water to saturate and then give a good dry cycle while maintaining enough moisture for healthy support of microbes. Brcause that is your lifeline in organics…. A healthy microbial population
