just watered them?
I watered them about 2 days ago. I overwatered them for sure so I've been waiting for them to dry before I water again. The soil does still look moist.... not sure why. There is plenty of drainage holes on the bottom of the cups and I even pushed them up the sides so that air can get under there slightly.

There to small yet to take up water in more volume… dont be scared to let em dry out more to get a handle on when to water. They bounce back fast and now is the time to learn because they are small. Overwatering will cause all sorts of issues and underwatering does to but to a much leaser extent and consequence. It’s easier to learn if you underwater how the containers should feel

Hello,

Thought I’d update the situation.

Moved them into the tent yesterday morning. Seems like they are doing good. Temps are good. Humidity could be higher so im working on that. Still a little concerned about the spiky edges but maybe its genetics? Not too sure, I’ve trial and errored a few things but to no avail. Haven't watered in about 2.5 days. Thinking about either getting another 600w light for when they get bigger or maybe a new light that can handle more plants. Also was thinking about getting another plant to put into the tent with them to maybe help with humidity? Is this something I could do with a grow tent?

its hard to have patience as a new grower but you doing very well. The best advice i can give is stay patient and think your decisions through before acting on them.

They look happy and are very young yet dont worry to much about the leaves as you look to have things setup well for success

That many will already be difficult in space in there and you may even need to toss 1-2. With seeds they wont flower until they mature so your limited how soon you can flip. 2 would be perfect imo for that tent

Yea my plan was to move 1-2 of then outside and see how they do out there. Excuse my inexperience but what do you mean by im limited to how soon I can flip? Probably sticking to 2 in the tent. Thank you very much for your replies!

So photoperiod cannabis wont flower until the plant matures…

depending on genetics usually 3-5 weeks from seed.

A clone is usually taken from an already mature mother plant.

So a clone can be flipped to flower immediately if desired while plants started from seed will not flower even if flipped until they mature.

You can see signs of maturity such as alternating internodes or pre flowers.

You want to keep them under longer photoperiods until they are mature and you are ready to flip (change to 12/12 light cycle)

At that point they usually double in width and height while some genetics can even triple. So it’s important to account for this when planning grow space and time you want to veg them

New grower here but just wanted to add that the light you have is what many consider underpowered. It is only 65 true watts. I would recommend something that uses at least 350 true watts for a 4x2 tent. Maybe a more experienced grower can elaborate.

If they are auto flowers it’s different
I understand. I do believe however that my seeds are auto-flower but I'm not too sure because I wasn't the one who purchased the seeds. So can I take a "clone" from any mature cannabis plant? photoperiod or auto flower? Also is space an issue if I were to put them into 3 gallon containers within the tent? Tent is 5ft high.

Yea I did notice that when I purchased. I was maybe just going to get 1-2 more maybe that would help the plant during its later months but it looks like I'll probably go with one of those Mars lights. I've heard good things. Do you think going for something that's a true 350 watts is definitely what I need? Its a lot more than I was looking to spend but if it'll get then Ill pull the trigger. Thank you!

Its the space the plant takes up the pot size is more relevant to your preferences.

You can clone both BUT…. There is little point to cloning an autoflower because they are basically on a timer once they sprout…. So taking cutting will only likely reduce yields. You take clones from a vegetative plants grow then to the size you like the flip.

An autoflow does not need to be flipped (changed light cycle) it flowers automatically no matter the light cycle.

This is a benefit to someone like yourself with an underrated light because you can make up for it by running it 24/0 instead of 12/12 so essentially you can get away with half the light for twice the duration

Cool. I think I'm leaning towards getting another FECIDA light and do 1 per plant. Assuming these are auto flower, (which I'm pretty sure they are because of the strain labeled on the bag) should I just keep light on 24/7? I've been on an 18/6 cycle since the 5th of June. Thank you Aqua Man!

Personally i feel a dark period is beneficial even if its 20/4 plants perform different functions during the calvin cycle that are important to soil, plant and microbes

Day 10 since I’ve planted. Wanted to ask about a few things.

Is wind burn something I should worry about if i have a 9 inch fan blowing up towards ceiling of tent? They don’t wobble like crazy but enough where It makes me wonder.

Is this light coloring coming from the center normal? I just gave them a misting early this morning as the soil was definitely dry on them.. not sure if that would be the effect of watering.

They most definitely do not direct airflow on them that will move them at this point

Just updating

I'm thinking the light color could be from them just getting out of dark cycle which is when this picture was taken. I hear that it make take time for the new leaves (in the center?) to gain chlorophyll as they haven't been exposed to light for very long.

Save the mister for the neighbors cat. Water when they dry out, when the cup feels featherlight or weigh the cups to know when they are dry. Misting the top will only draw gnats.
