I mean that does make sense. But why be so convinced and telling someone they're right and your wrong instead of experimenting for yourself.
The ins and outs of growing weed are developing rapidly. For example: I harvested a grow in 2015, then didn't start a grow again until late 2018 or early 2019. I had NEVER HEARD of anyone worrying about VPD in 2015, then it seemed like the most important thing when I got back to online growing sites.

The rest is internet attitude. I'm right, you're not just wrong, but are barely human if you disagree.

VPD,,,phfff that's old now.
it's calmag now, doesn't matter what the issue is, it's always " calmag deficiency"

I think VPD has become a thing because of LEDs and the amount of new growers.

People that have been growing for decades were managing VPD without knowing it, but it was also easier because lighting was far less efficient. Lights were heat sources and were self limiting in terms of the PPFD you could put down before you set your house on fire. Higher heat = lower RH... VPD kinda managed itself.

For new folks, measuring VPD is a way to know if they are where they need to be without years of experience to fall back on.

Yes even the ones growing in dirt
lol so true. i have 1 plant that's very short and young with huge fans that cover way to much. i showed a pic to another grower for his opinion if i should trim it.
he knows i grow in FFOF and only use str8 water, after all of 3/10's of a second looking at the pic he said " that's a calmag deficiency"
at least i now know who not to ask for advice, lol

Also people who buy bloom promoters are wasting their money and burning their plants, look at the label and you already have it in your nutrient . JMO

I believe in "stop feeding a couple weeks off".
But some special onslaught of water toward the end that a "flush" suggests has caused me some problems...
So currently for me its more like "stop feeding towards the end but water careful as always".
