Yes it will appear lighter in color with some droop.if left a little while the leaf will go crunchy..pull on the leaf and if it comes off easily it is mold.by the looks of the pick id say yes it is.but i could b wrong...i wouldnt pry it apart as mold spores will go elsewhere it the tent.

I think it might be. Glove up and pry it apart so you can see deeper inside. You will see it. It's not the whole cola tho, good looking out.
It sure was but caught very early and taken out. Everything else look fine. It seems yellow blade give budrot away each time.

All plants are now ripening fast pistils turning and trichomes turning all white. Every extra day is a win but if i tommorow notice spreading, specially big cola i consider harvest. If it stops the damage aint very huge so far. There are plenty of heqlrhy and beatiful buds. I will keep the ac on every night. I only give ph balanced water once a day.

Looks like you got plenty of input on this....Im with ppl that are saying keep the RH below 50% in your flower area or have more circulation...Maybe have a fan that blows across plants...
To avoid this myself theres a tiny trick where on those big top colas if your worried about rot?....For 1 always watch for "Dying-off"...
This is when the upper Fan leaves die-off and then would naturally fall off....Where that fan leaf dies is also where the Rot will start as its a death of the node point as this is the latest stage of flower..
So if you see a very yellow leaf and it looks weak late Bloom...Remove it,..,.
Also - Old Skewl huge Cola trick -Pull the Buds AWAY from the Stalk before Rot ensues.....ez..... power to it
Far as what to do with rotted bud...thats your call...

ps: on Humidity ...these guys are very correct by saying keep RH under 50%....Look at it like this...
At 51% RH theres still a tiny bit of residual RH to feed mold and rot(this is bad)...at 49% RH the room is Pulling a bit moisture from the area and plants(this is good)...This is the Logic behind it...gl
thats an excellent tip. Tug on the sugar leaves occasionally to spread the buds out.

I'd check how many ambers you have, and if you have your desired amount, I would chop. I've just had mould in my main cola's in my last run, it didn't move really, like Max said, don't mess with it or it spreads like wild fire. I lost five colas, the rest were fine. 👍

I actually prize the buds apart from the stem when im trimming to inspect all the tops.i even cut buds off the tops in sections to help with the drying aswell.
Ya I think that one guy was saying do that also while its flowering just to let them breathe. And of course we all know to just use a sugar leaf and not squeeze the bud like a galoot.

I couldnt prize them just by grabbing leaf while still growing..just too strong .used the end of scissors to prize trimming and near half the time damaged the bud stem from the main one.often i seen no rot but as they dried out you could see brownness at the base of the bud stem meaning it was in the early stages of budrot...green is good ,brown is bad..☺

I used to try to salvage what I thought was still good. Not anymore; I toss the whole plant.

Im same..gives ya the shits when it happens.i still see guys i know with it stored in there jars.i tell em and they seem to think ..nar its good max.lol..jeff from dragonsflame mentioned using a uvc light but most im seeing the 254nm light is only used for 15 mins or so.so now im looking at the far uvc 222nm which doesnt affect our eyes and skin and running that 24/7 in the ducting or in front of ducting so to fuck the spores up before entering room..if say i use the 254nm it sanitizes but when its off and suck fresh air into room none of that will b sanitized .

Think your saying "pry them apart.."?.....plz dont take this personally Im just saying "prize" make no sense in that sentance...I could be very high tho.......Yes Pull the buds away from the Main stalk so they can breathe is the goal...But the die-off will still cause budrot so its a few angles to keep a eye on...
So to me what happens is as growers we start to see nice fat colas...and the longer you grow the bigger you try and get your Colas..
To the point when one day you grow the Monster...heh...This is when you learn about Botrytis (BudRot)....Now a days I'd rather multi-head a plant then shoot for a single huge main cola even tho Hash Plants were designed for those types of colas...
On some colas it hard to do this tho so in this case just remove the yellows...This Williams was right at the budrot point and those leaves were the warning sign..power to it
