Are sugars good for plants should I add sugar to my plants

I was told by a friend if I add something like molasses to my water πŸ’¦ it would help at the end.

A lot of the marketed "bud boosters" or "bloom busters" really just contain quality black strap molasses. You are being told things without understanding the why behind the what and I think that is more important. As @CannaGranny said a good nutrient regiment should provide enough sugar production for your microbial life to be happy.

Some growers like to use it, others don't use it at all.

molasses is used when you are growing organicly and we cant help with minimal information information. In my signature you may find a link on how to ask proper question. Copy past the questions here and anwser them to yyour best knowladge. Some pictures would be benefecial!

We had 55 gallon drums of molasses on the farm where I grew up because it was a common soil amendment. That was a long time ago. Molasses can promote microbial life and it can also affect flavor. Tomato growers, for example, might use molasses to sweeten the taste of the tomatoes. I don't know if it can affect the taste of cannabis, but I'm interested. It might help flavoring tinctures.

It’s also an excellent choice of both natural mag and cal. 😊
