A few days ago I set three plants up in a coco dripper, recirc, 400MH, in a 75x75x100 budbox, 5" output fan, passive in, temps 25 day 18 night. Two are TW clones, the other is a Reserva Privada mix clone. They've been on 12/12 since 4/10/08.

Nutes: EC1.8 (local tap starting EC0.6)
Canna Vega A+B, Hygro, Rhizo. Temps about 19/20.

The leaves have started to go yellow, almost like they are being bleached...so i figured it might be chlorosis. What do I do about this? Any idea what causes it?

I think I may have had my lights too close...would that do it? Thanks in advance

When the leaves on my plants start yellowing like that the first thing I do is increase the strength of my nutrient solution. Within a couple of days they start getting their colour back.

Just off the phone to a mate - you're bang on mate - in my stoneyness I just thought "reservoir...uhhhh...hydro...uhhh...aqua vega". Going to change the res in a mo and redo it with Canna Coco.

Ta!

Stoner is dead right. DOH! Cheers....have just given them a flush of 5.7 tap. It's nice having them above the res so you don't have to move them for drainage.

cheers queso - but it was me using hydro nutes instead of coco....colour is coming back now. Might up the EC though - seems like the TW like their nutes.

I really don't know mate - best guess is not enough food...try upping the EC a bit....if the leaves go greener then you'll know, otherwise they'll get a bit burned. A few of mine have been yellowy green rather than deep green and I think it's a mild nitrogen prob from not enough food in general (i.e. strain specific). Cal-mag deficiencies I think look like brown spots....

How old are they and how much A&B are you giving in EC terms (and what are they)?

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and new to growing as well and I'm experiencing this same problem. I am growing 8 grapefruit diesel and 1 church from clones, as well as 3 random strains from seeds. I as well am growing using a coco medium and canna nutes and am experiencing the yellowing of the leaves, the stunted growth, the curling down of the leaves, and a few brown spots as well. This is only happening in a few of the clones, and the plants from the seeds look really healthy. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

lloyd323...what your seeing with the extreme yellowing is a plant that's begging for nitrogen. These guys already have ya going in the right direction, I just thought I'd tell ya the "specific" cause of the yellowing.

Great recovery on those girls rounders!
