Big mistake I always make is watering both plants at the same time because one is ready and the other is close enough.

yes i feed them and watered same time no gnats or any problems at all till around week 9 of flower

will be growing them again real soon i was thinking of waiting until the plants were 1 or 2 feet before i top then flip in about a week after topping

Gold bud from girdled stalk.

after a 7 day hang and 3 days in a brown paper bag i got 2.90 oz on 1 plant and 3.222 oz on the other
on the 2.90 plant it smells and taste just like diesels fuel lol
3.222 plant has a more earthy sweet kind of smell no diesel fuel smell
what i smoked from it so far seemed to give a uplifting high at first then mellows to a more relaxing high

Hell yeah that one looks great hopefully you saved a cut or can find a bean in a flower. You will want to run that one again for sure!

i got 7 more beans i bought 10 from barneys farm
my yeilds seem to be gettting lower and lower with the liquids nutes i averaged 4 oz per plant with these dry nutes its around 3 oz per plant no matter the pot size

I never used paperbag method but glad you had success. I'm still enjoying my Crops King AG, you should give it a try. The smell is very similar, sweet earthy but fuely when fresh ground.

i do not know if i do it would be next year . i putting the dry stuff on every 3 weeks i think boogie said it takes that stuff like 2 weeks to start working so i might just be doing the nutes wrong for example if the plant does not need any added nutes for 2 weeks and then i add dry nutes that take 2 weeks for them to work wouldnt that put me like 2 weeks behind on nutes ?

@biggerbud420, Thanks for the thread. I plan to grow Barney's Farm Acapulco Gold when my current crop is finished. I'll probably start in October. I began my grow diary this morning.

In defense of Barney's Farm, they don't claim this is the original Acapulco Gold from long ago. They make it clear in the first sentence of the description: "Acapulco Gold takes its name from the old-time legendary Mexican cannabis strain but improved genetics and selective breeding have raised the stakes in terms of its sheer quality." I read that as an acknowledgement that this is a different strain. They reused the name in their attempt to create a modern version of an old favorite.
